I got into Asian Dramas around 2019, I watched a random drama called warrior princess on a Chinese official account on YouTube. Then I had a short stint with anime. only when the pandemic hit did I start watching all kinds of dramas, truly because i had nothing better to do.

I have a list with all my favorite dramas, but the ratings I give will vary not on whether the drama was enjoyable for me, but the plot and acting as well as production.

And lastly my preferred genres are thriller, crime and comedy. And I tend to dislike dramas that lose all reason for romance just for plot convenience.  Like not everything has to revolve around the fuckass romance, which also causes the plot to derail and just too cringe to watch.
