My opinion is that it’s a good drama but it has some up’s and downs but when I first started watching it in ep1 there were many “exposing” scenes but when zeouy was at the party and jump came it was wired and then when Porsche started to dominate jump it was hard to watch so then I took a brake from watching it and on top when Jackson Lee and his business it then got interestingWas this review helpful to you?

so, yeah. this show did a thing.tbis show made me realize i have a fetish for blonde twinks with mustaches so i think thats an automatic 10/10. I also love the addition of schizophrenic representation. love to see it, i feel seen and heard.
Not only did this show diagnose me with schizophrenia and possibly HIV, it also diagnosed me with very serious homophobia and i never wanna see a gay person ever again after this. It will be on sight. If i see fucking korn outside on the hood streets of bangkok i will not hesitate to whip out a glock and pop his ass straight back into his mamas womb.
9.0 cause i would love to see the entite cast have one giant orgy but whatever. a man could dram.

One of the worst BL'S I've ever seen!
If you're looking for a BL series with a plot, story and acting, this ain't it! This is by far, the worst one I've ever scene! This whole series was just about a bunch of horny boys out there looking for their next hook-up, it was all over the place and it felt incomplete! Is there going to be a season 2 to explain the cliffhanger? People gave bad reviews and hate on Venus in the Sky, but this was given good reviews and likes? I wouldn't recommend this BL to anyone to watch! It was raunchy! The only thing good about this show was some of the guys were nice looking, but the NC scenes were very cringey and unrealistic. To understand this series you have to look deeper
While there is very mixed reviews about this series. I get both sides. I feel as though if you're one to watch this series in a fixed mindset of it having a bunch of NC moments it can fall dull. However, the overall plot of this series is actually very interesting and meaningful and most of the moments made sense.When it came to Nont wanting to uncover the truth behind his twin brothers disappearance, it made sense that the only way to find out was to live in the shoes of Nant. The whole point was the shocking revelation of the world he found out his twin lived in. The audience being in disbelief of the actions of everyone involved I feel was the whole point.
While I don't know if there will be a season two now due to recent events, the ending where it's revealed that Zouey knew everything the whole time and that what happened to him played a part in Nant's disapperance was overall a little shocking. While they made points within the whole series to pin in on moments of Zouey looking worried or guilty, finding out the whole truth was mindblowing!
Now, what I don't like is the seeming death of Phop. What would season 2 even be about if now there can be no justice for Nant? That's what I was most curious about.
Overall, to understand this series it's important to look deeper than the surface level content you see and see the whole picture.

The humour is in the cringe
The overall story is interesting, the mystery behind Nant's disappearance really keeps your attention but outside of that the story is a bit lacking. There's barely any character exposition or growth, I couldn't quite grasp the motivations behind the actions of most of the characters. Once I started to slightly understand the characters, more characters were added who just stole screentime from other characters. My favourite characters are Nont, Zouey, First, Keen, and Peun. And that's only because I felt like their characters were flushed out properly. I understood the conflicted emotions, motivations, etc.The acting was a hit and miss honestly. The actors who played Nont and Prom really did a great job, they had good chemistry and really did a great job at evoking emotions from me, really enjoyed seeing them on screen, they were the MVPs of the show. This doesn't mean the other actor's were bad, they tried but some scenes just felt too awkward, I struggled to get immersed in their world at some times.
The sound design was boring, barely noticeable, they only really utilised it during the intimate scenes. The choice in sound is supposed to give me an indication of what mood to feel but I constantly found myself staring at the screen confused.
I don't think I'll miss this series at all. I got to a point where I was just sort of hate watching because everything just felt prolonged. It didn't need 14 episodes and a possible 2nd season, everything could have been resolved in this one season. I don't think there's mouch rewatch value but I'll probably watch the 2nd season just so I can have some conclusion to the series.
This review is not meant to discourage anyone from watching the series. If you're looking for great storytelling and production, this is not the series for you but if you're looking for something cringe and funny (unintentionally) then this is the series for you. I spent most of my time just laughing at how cringe things were and oogling Prom. So have fun with it.

A series based on NC scenes.
There isn't an episode without an NC scene and the scenes are disturbing. If I wanted to watch porn I would watch it on Pornhub. It was a series that disturbed me so much I couldn't even watch the whole thing.I liked the acting. But there was no event in the series. The actors deserved a better script.
In short, it was a disappointing series for me. I can tell you that it is the only BL series that made me uncomfortable while watching. I hope the actors can play in a good scenario. That's all I have to say

Hard work, slow progression in story.
The whole thing is quite jumbled. I think it's trying to be edgy, but it doesn't quite work. There are so many characters and each have their own sub-plots, so to make all the time and effort worthwhile, the ending needs to bring it all together in a dynamic exciting way - which it doesn't. The ending is lacklustre at best and bloody annoying. There is a lot of sex in this series, but zero eroticism or sensuality. Everything feels dark and dingy. You know the feeling you get if you ever walk through a dirty, rough part of town where there are lots of druggies and dodgy people - that is how most of the cinematography of this series feels. I thought it would feel a bit like KinnPorsche, or maybe Not Me, but it is miles from that because none of the characters have any chemistry in this series. Its hard to know if this is what it was meant to be like, or if this is just the best they could manage. I often wonder if different actors could have improved it, I think probably they could but if would still never me an outstanding series.Was this review helpful to you?
Totally worth giving a try!
Wow, I almost missed this series because of its low rating, but Holy shit, it was very good. I admit many of the NC scenes weren't necessary(not that I have issues with them but sometimes they're just out of nowhere). Nevertheless the complex plot and incoming turning points got me hooked! Give it a try! The first 2 episodes got me thinking "what the hell am I watching " but then it got really interesting and complicated.Please check trigger warnings, this series isn't for everyone..it's sometimes very graphic.

Don’t go into this thinking it’ll be a typical purity BL
I’ve heard bad reviews of this series and saw the low rating for it. It didn’t deter me from watching it thankfully because I actually really liked it. I think people’s biggest issue with this is the fact that it isn’t a typical “I’m pure except for you” series as well as the fact that the characters don’t have set positions. We all know that most BLs are made “for women” but this series doesn’t feel like that. I love that each person gave and revised received because that feel more like real life. It didn’t make the small, feminine character only a bottom the whole time. I loved that. It’s not perfect by any means, like I really could have done without the random English, but I thought it was a good story.Was this review helpful to you?

A Saucy Thriller With Raunchy Content
This series is an erotic roller-coaster ride through the world of gay love. If non-gay people want to know what it is like to be gay, then this is the series to watch. Not the idealized versions of BLs. This is what the world of gayness is, whether you want to believe it or not, accept it or not. It is what it is. Sure, it is the darker side, but it is no less real than the ornament sanitized version of what GAY love is via BL. In other words, this is its antithesis. This expresses the real world.It is a potpourri story that is at times impossible to follow and logically makes absolutely no sense; it has a ‘soap-opera aspect to it. And I loved every minute of it. Why? Because, it presents the darker side of ‘BL’. And if you think for one second that this world either does not exist or is not real, then you are misinformed and mistaken. As it does. What this story does is capture all the issues facing gay men today in a raw, gritty, realistic fashion. Sometimes a bit over-the-top dramatically but never ever unrealistically. To be sure, the problems are overblown, but never its lasciviousness.

I REALLY REALLY WANTED TO LOVE IT.
Ok I heard so much about this show and yeah I just don't get it. The actual story was really good but I'm going to say 90% of the "NC" scenes could of been cut out. Don't get me wrong I love a good NC scene but most of these didn't help the move the story along and I'm sorry but how is that EVERYONE wears the same brand and color underwear. Like seriously this could just be one long Comercial for Rich underwear. I love the story and all the twist and turns but by the end of it I was getting tired of watch watching these guys grind on each other in underwear that they stuffed for no other reason but to add more NC scenes that weren't even that good. Seriously, If I was that hard up for NC I'd just go watch porn. That being said I'll probably end up watching season 2 just to figure out WTF happened. LolWas this review helpful to you?

Is that an ending???
Yes, if you like to watch s3x, you'll be happy. BUT, the acting was terrible.Not only it was missing a line into the story. It went everywhere with no really any answers at the end.
The casting was ok, but they're all newbies and they should have had someone to be there to help as everything sounded fake.
The tears, the love stories, the actions... Everything felt like watching something from the 50s.
I really don't get those who put a 10. Obviously, they judged the actors by their body and the story by the number of s3x scenes, because other than that, I would not even re-watch it.
So this his my opinion as a big BL watcher.
