Prologue : XZZ was shopping for a mix to make unsweetened black sesame ball snacks.
Qin Fei figured Chen Shen was a fan of Xiaoxiao since the name of the bar reminded of that of a bookstore and one cocktail of one featuring in her movies. Chen Shen admitted that he was unconditionally in love with Xiaoxiao.
When QF at last got to the other 0°C bar, XZZ was still waiting. He sang the "You Are the One" song for her
Despite some anxiety until they got confirmation, Qin Fei had got the 2FL role on the movie so she flew away immediately wit Kafei to the filming location, while XZZ decided to focus on a medical paper and upcoming conference. He sent a big box of snacks and wooden puzzles to QF. Kafei snatched a black sesame ball and made a 吃醋 (sour, jealous) face!
The ML on set, Hao Jun, was very dismissive about Qin Fei but overly gushing to Xiaoxiao ; Chen Shen explained to Qin Fei that Xiaoxiao's recommendation had backfired and crew thought she only got the role for that reason. She asked Xiaoxiao for advice about filming a crying scene and Xiaoxiao opened up in her trailer about her past sad story with Liu Yanze.
Meanwhile, Liu Yanze was checking Xiaoxiao's hotel room carefully for hidden cameras or spyware. He overheard the conversation about Xiaoxiao's feeling badly hurt by his past rejection.
