Both these dramas are romcoms about two ex-schoolmate meeting again.

Female lead is an actress in both dramas while male lead is at a crossroad in his career.

In both of these dramas, FL and ML met each other first in an unexpected, disaster-like occasion. They somehow meet again in a few years later, while ML remember FL right away. FL is a doctor in you are my hero when ML is a doctor in a beautiful lie.

I've read the novel and watched Intense Love, so here are some similarities between these two dramas that I found:

-Once MLs went to the disaster area, the couple had a little conflict. But then FLs joined MLs there
-Both have lighthearted plots. There was no heavy conflict

A disaster-stricken area in southwest China welcomed a rescue medical team and volunteers, with actress Qin Fei accompanying the team. Everyone said that Qin Fei's volunteering was merely for show, but Qin Fei was earnestly committed and even risked her life to save others in a critical moment. During their time together day and night, the team leader of the medical team, Xing Zhi Zhi, saw the resilience and kindness in Qin Fei's heart, deepening their mutual understanding. Both have the famous woman and common man trope where ML in both series is a huge fan of the FL. I really enjoyed watching Love Scenery with all the cute moments between ML and FL. It is such an interesting story. So if you would like to watch something similar to A Beautiful Lie as it is airing, Love Scenery is a great pick.
