The picture shown repeatedly in the drama, of the iconic arched building is that of the Gate To The East 东方之门, the second tallest building in Suzhou, Jiangsu, and the lake and park scenery through which Dr Xing takes Xixi are also from the banks of Jingji lake, close to that building.
