The wealthy Wu family are killed in a brutal massacre. The only survivor is Wu Yang, the adult daughter of the family, who is saved at the last moment by the mysterious yet very powerful Mr. Pai. However, Wu Yang soon learns that this was no act of mercy as she realises that Pai seems to hold some kind of grudge against her. She also must try to uncover the truth about the Wu family massacre.
