Senior Brother's Sweet Treat
4 hours ago from Liu Xueyi's Super Topic
@Mr_Liu Xueyi :

Greetings!
As the calendar for 2025 turns to its last page, looking back on this year, your name remains inextricably linked to "breakthrough" and "perseverance." From Yuan Zhong, who played six roles in "Nian Wushuang" and struggled on the boundary between good and evil, to Jin Xiu, who was deeply affectionate and fought against fate in "When Flowers Fall, We Meet Again," and then to Shen Zaiye, the cunning and stoic minister in "Peach Blossoms Reflect the River and Mountains," you fulfilled your initial aspiration of "acting well" with each vivid character, and also showed the audience the infinite possibilities of actor Liu Xueyi.
This year, we witnessed your reverence and clarity regarding acting. Faced with praise for your "perfect ancient costume look," you didn't rest on your laurels. Instead, you frankly stated your desire to "expand your possibilities." To accurately portray Yuan Zhong's multiple personalities, you switched performance rhythms in a very short time, using extreme emotional control to make the character truly resonate with the audience. Even when your work faced controversy, you remained steadfast in your belief that "every character is an independent individual," immersing yourself in exploring the character's nuances and rejecting the constraints of empiricism. This humble and focused attitude is more moving than any halo.
We also remember your warmth off-screen—making bouquets for fans at offline events, readily responding to their requests for high-fives, and using humor to ease the tension of meeting them; candidly sharing anecdotes from the set with your co-stars in interviews, stating frankly, "Being famous isn't important; what's important is having the confidence to say 'I can do it' when I receive a good script." You always maintain the mystique of an actor, yet reveal sincerity in the details, making this mutual affection all the more heartwarming.
In 2025, you will grow amidst applause and controversy, moving forward through perseverance and breakthroughs. A new journey is about to begin. May every script you encounter be imbued with warmth, and every character you portray possess a soul. May you broaden your acting range while retaining your pure love for performance. May every effort you make be rewarded, and every attempt you take yield results.
We will always be there silently watching you journey from the aloof immortal lord of the fantasy world to the political intrigue of the historical court, and then to even more unknown stages, step by step becoming the "actor" you aspire to be.
May you enjoy peace and prosperity year after year!
Sweet
2025 end of the year

Weibo Post

Spring like a glass of wine zzz

Yesterday, at 3:53 p.m., Liu Xueyi's Super Topic.

Taking advantage of this fan frenzy, I want to talk about the Liu Xueyi I see.

I don't remember where I read a comment about him: "He hasn't changed much from the past to the present. When he is afraid or sad, he hides; when he feels loved, he jumps around." I think that's pretty accurate to some extent.

I've always been against idolizing someone, but I also don't agree with belittling someone. I can't spoil him, but I think I can definitely respect him.

Often, people argue and suddenly demand explanations from Liu Xueyi; criticize his studio and attack him directly (in reality, he can't stand it that much, see the live of 08/14/25); they talk and mention him directly, making a series of demands, acting as if they were bosses. To this day, he is still called by that seemingly friendly but actually very old-fashioned nickname. He even says, with the utmost seriousness, "I can call you whatever I want." Did these fans watch the variety show "Flor da Primavera"? While playing darts, he showed a rare childish side, popping balloons while saying, "You're the old man!". It was an unconscious psychological escape. I don't want to point the finger at anyone, because these behaviors are common and we can't expect perfection from everyone, but I really want to talk about this phenomenon. In addition, it all depends on the initial intention.

I counted the conversations in the chat; he talked to fans hundreds of times in six months, probably close to a thousand in a year. This frequency of responses is extremely rare in the Chinese entertainment industry. And in every answer, I can see your sincerity and dedication. A fan once said, "If you don't answer me, I'll cry." He replied, "Don't worry, don't worry, everyone has their problems." He also cares about the fans; He understands their expectation. On the night of the screaming competition, he went to the booth to take a picture. Later, when he was online, a fan said, "I missed it, can you take me next time?" He quickly replied, "Let's take a digital picture."He quickly realized the disappointment of Xue Si, who was not present but could not guarantee an upcoming photo opportunity. Still, he saw the desire to answer —an intelligent, tender answer that expressed sincerity.

As for the "Fan Movement", I personally have some reservations. As soon as it started, marketing accounts and influential figures started reposting it. Unlike previous fan groups, which were essentially spontaneous, the Fan Movement can be seen as his decision, representing him. This means that if something goes wrong, the blame will be placed on him by negative marketing accounts and public opinion. But the Fan Movement is the Fan Movement, and Liu Xueyi is Liu Xueyi. However, it was a positive attempt, a sincere response.

I have doubts; he is so reserved, so reserved. He hides, as if hiding a pseudonym. I analyzed his previous works — was he always like that? I found that he was very outgoing in his early years, danced awkwardly on set, and smiled sweetly for the camera. But in recent years, his demeanor has gradually become more serene. He once said that humor is to please others and madness to please oneself. I think he gradually matured because he was pressured by the company and faced health problems in the family. I also think that he has become more relaxed due to Xue Si's various comings and goings in recent years. He paid 10,000 yuan for Tao Hua Yun's private event; Has he lowered his expectations of the outside world? I think he needs a break.

Liu Xueyi used to hold cooking competitions on Weibo and display his dishes. He posted pictures of cats and their reflections in the water on set, and even a photo of his ear being pulled painfully by a rubber band... But after March 2024, his Weibo started to display only the posts from the last six months, and his studio still displays the letter from the lawyer from that time. I haven't read all of your posts on Weibo yet. Since his paper became incredibly popular at that time, many people meticulously analyzed each of his posts, examining them like a magnifying glass, trying to find flaws to harm him. After that, he set it to show only posts from the last six months and shared less and less. But Liu Xue, I really hope you share your life. I want you to not be affected by these things, but I also want to see more of you and understand you better.

However, I especially hope that you will share it genuinely and proactively. If I push you or if you're not willing, it will make me very conflicted. Because I know how relaxed, free, and sincere you are when you talk to your fans during live streams, so I can pick up on some of that if you're really not in the mood. But I think you also understand how your fans feel; Everyone likes you, wants to see you and interact with you more. What did you eat today? Are you still doing a cooking competition? Where was the last time you shot a landscape? If you really don't feel like sharing, that's okay too. The question is, when people miss you, where will they see you? I know you alternate between low, medium, and high energy levels; I know you need time to recharge and I want you to fully recharge to shine in your next role. So, I leave this question for you to reflect on.

Some fans like him because they expect him to be a popular figure, others because they expect him to be an actor, and others because they expect him to be handsome since he is progressing in all areas. He is popular, attracts a lot of people; he also has a talent for acting, he is walking the path to becoming a serious actor; He's handsome, so handsome that just looking into his eyes you can be hypnotized. Therefore, everyone has different expectations and requirements regarding it. He's different from many artists who just need to follow one path — those who rely on popularity just need acting skills that don't feel out of place, those who focus on acting don't have to care about the fans, and those with a simple appearance are considered cute and will never be analyzed with a magnifying glass.

Liu Xueyi
@Mr_刘学义, I want to see your sincere side, your spontaneous side, your side that you really want to share with Xuesi. If you hear various demands and suggestions, you can read and listen, but including mine, they are personal, not absolute truths. I like you and I try to see you as you are. A version of you without pressure, and me also without pressure.Liu Xueyi

Even if they see the same text, different people have different thoughts, understandings, feelings, and perspectives, which generates conflicts. It would be much better if everyone wrote down their own stuff and sent it to the email address, allowing them to judge for themselves, adopt reasonable suggestions, and make improvements when necessary.

klzang : Looking at the comments section right now, it's definitely like that. "A lot of different fans write the same things, and even if they see the same words, their feelings and perceptions will be different because everyone knows different things and has different understandings, so discussions come up again." -----The idolatry mentality is actually a projection of real-life emotional patterns. If someone can't rationally handle their romantic interests in real life, it will only be amplified online. You can ask this person to control themselves, and maybe they can hold on for a while, but eventually the situation will explode. Adults can only filter, not change, unless they experience a major setback and awaken to their true selves. Those who agree with your publication will continue to agree, and those who disagree will not change. Interact with those who share your beliefs and protect your original intentions.

Xie Wang Qing: -----Regarding the fan club issue, Liu Xue is one of the few who talks openly about it; The other fan clubs are very reserved. A group without professional management will inevitably suffer several losses. She should also be more familiar with the rules of operation of the Chinese entertainment industry. Your other concerns are nothing to worry about. If any serious problems occur, it can be attributed to operational errors of the team. As long as it is not the celebrity himself involved, there is always room for maneuver.

Liu Xueyi's heart and soul

6 hours ago, Entertainment Blogger Edited

Why are Liu Xueyi's fans being harassed in every way? Why are you trying to drive me away like this? Why are you so jealous of my genuine love for Liu Xueyi? Why are you trying to drive away fans on Liu Xueyi's behalf? I have no ambition, and I will never do any management or leadership. I don't care about those things, and I pose no threat to you. What's wrong with a simple fan who just likes Liu Xueyi? Why do you still want to drive me away? Can't I even just quietly like Liu Xueyi? Why has the fandom become like this? I thought everything would be better once the fan club took over, but today, several of you managers are making things difficult for me. At noon, you spread rumors that I was a multi-fan, but it turns out I wasn't a multi-fan at all; I was the one who was. Tonight, you said there were problems with my videos. Three of them were videos I went to see offline. So I provided the managers with 15 videos: 10 on both platforms, 10 on 😅, and 5 on sph, totaling 15. Tonight, another manager messaged me saying three of them didn't meet the requirements. If you remove three more, I still have 12 left (the requirement is 10). So I don't know what I did wrong? Is it wrong for me to even breathe if I like Liu Xueyi? So you really don't want me to like Liu Xueyi? So you want to drive me away? Why? It's ridiculous. You say I'm a fan of Li Cao (Li Xueyi's real name), claiming that authoritative figures have confirmed Li Cao is not a nobody, but still a major star and actress in the Chinese entertainment industry, and still a contemporary of Liu Xueyi. I'm at my wit's end; they're just using all sorts of tricks to drive me away. Three years ago, I was smeared by the Chinese entertainment industry, and now I've been a nobody for three years, and you still say he's your competitor, that liking a nobody is being a fan of multiple celebrities. It's laughable. Liu Xueyi's fan club management is using a nobody who's no longer in the entertainment industry as an excuse to drive away his true fans, claiming he's a contemporary. You can say I'm dissatisfied with anything, but I won't accept being a fan of multiple celebrities. It's blatant lying and spreading rumors.

You must be the one who wrote the letter, right? Don't be sad, here's a hug! You can like him anywhere. But I don't understand, does the official group require solo fans to be their first love and a fan of any idol? Even having liked someone before isn't allowed?

Tiger Girl xgz replied to @Liu Xueyi's Darling : Whether you're a solo fan or not, you're definitely a true fan. You've given just as much as other solo fans. It doesn't matter if you're not in the official group; it doesn't affect your love for him . Personally, I wouldn't want to join either. Liking him is my own business; I don't need to prove anything or be supervised by others. Loving him cleanly, purely, and freely avoids a lot of noise and commotion, isn't that better?

My first airport pickup (March 1, 2026)

A few days before, I hadn't planned to pick him up from the airport, and naturally, I hadn't joined any groups. It wasn't until a fellow fan asked, "Sister Xiaomei, do you have a group for airport pickups?" that I hurriedly joined and invited her in as well.

The group was buzzing with discussion, and I was really tempted. But I had to work that day, arriving at the office by 8 am sharp, and the drive from the airport to the office was an hour and a half… I repeatedly pondered the map, trying to figure out how to save time and be efficient, balancing the pickup with work, and finally decided to give it a shot.

My flight was very early, and fearing I wouldn't be able to get a taxi in the early morning, I booked a car the night before. I got up at 4 am and set off at 4:30 am (the last time I got up this early was when Lanxiang started filming). When I went downstairs, I found it was raining outside, but I didn't bother going back for an umbrella and just got in the car. My mood was relatively calm along the way; I wasn't excited, just rested with my eyes closed. It wasn't until we arrived at the airport that my heart started racing, filled with the longing to see him!

The wait felt incredibly long. I met a few fellow fans, chatted briefly, and then remained at the exit railing. I clutched my banner tightly (I wore it to tell him we came specifically for him, not just for casual fans).

When a fellow fan glimpsed him through the gap and whispered, "He's here," I knew he was about to come out—the person I'd been longing for! The moment he appeared, I immediately raised my banner high and shouted, "Brother!" I don't know if he heard me, but everyone around looked over. After a moment of awkward silence, I started following him.

Actually, he didn't walk very fast; he just had long legs and big strides, and my short legs struggled to keep up. I could only see his back the whole way. When he got on the escalator, I didn't follow. Instead, I went around to the front and finally managed to get a seat. His first words were, "Hurry home." A simple sentence, but full of concern. He always said this at events, and he always asked us to let him know we arrived home safely.

All the way, the fans didn't make a sound; they just followed silently. My brother seemed unfamiliar with Pudong Airport, asking twice for directions to Terminal 1… He'll get used to it after a few more visits!

After walking for a while, he stopped and said, “That's enough for now, don't follow me anymore, or I'll get impatient.” We all quickly replied, “Okay, okay.”

One of my more adventurous friends, holding a photo, asked, “Can I get an autograph?” My brother readily agreed. I didn't have a photo, only a banner, and cautiously asked, “Brother, can I get an autograph on this banner?” He looked at it and said, “I don't know if I can.” I quickly said, “Yes, yes.” “Is that okay?” He took the banner, signed it, and said, “Stop following me and go home.” I replied, “Okay, brother, I'm going to work now. Thank you, brother.”

Finally, on the way from the city line to Line 15, a woman as swift as the wind ran with all her might… 7:57 AM, check-in successful! Perfect!Snowflakes like stars illuminate a winter night | Sun Xiaomei's Weibo video

Xiaomei, could you please re-edit this? I saw other fans saying that if I continue following him, I won't be able to go back. Listening to the video I filmed, it seems like that's what he said.

Xueyi is soaring, steadily making his way onto the international stage. His Instagram will continue to be updated. His performance in Milan was perfect 100%, and everyone did an excellent job. Many people quickly registered on Instagram, and the bookstore on various platforms performed very well. This is just the beginning; we must continue to do even better, okay?
We need to keep up with his pace. Everyone needs to be proactive in promoting the bookstore across all platforms: Weibo, Douyin, Xiaohongshu, WeChat groups, video accounts, and Instagram. We also need everyone to work together to boost data; one or two people can only do so much.
Brands and businesses look at data; their first priority is exposure and buzz (media and public attention, discussion, and dissemination). They also consider data and popularity. Promotion, likes, and comments on any platform are crucial!
Xueyi is soaring ahead, and we're supporting him from behind! Let
's cheer him on! Let's charge forward together! Let's all support him! Let's accompany him further and help him reach even greater heights!

✨🥰P.S. I know this is the kind of variety show Liu Xue Yi would love to be on. During the promotions for "In Blossom," he answered many questions in the form of riddles; he was great at thinking on his feet, and he is so witty and charming. (I just hope they take good care of him on the show and don't get in his way.)

There's been a big wave of mdl users recently who constantly complain about "too much women" and "too much feminism" and "where's my man's screentime" in cdramas. This show is specifically made to piss off those people so brace yourselves for these annoying individuals to come and complain about a feminist novel being adapted into a feminist drama (fork in the kitchen)

I don't think there will be any complaints—not with the way the male character is being highlighted, including his presence in the promotional material. It clearly elevates the female characters, but the man will also have his due importance and screen time (otherwise, what kind of romance would it be?). It is a love story that ends with a happy family.

In his latest VanityTeen interview, #LiuXueyi opened up about working with #TanSongyun on #AgainsttheCurrent

VanityTeen: "Is this your first time working with Tan Songyun? Was there any scene between the two of you that left a particularly deep impression on you?"

Liu Xueyi: "Although this was our first time working together, it felt like we'd been working together for a long time. When it comes to acting, we constantly respond to each other in the moment and bring something new to the scene. I really enjoy working with people who are talented and highly professional, because together we can create something greater than the sum of our parts.
We had a scene about repaying a debt of gratitude. We didn't rehearse it much beforehand we only went over the movements. But we were able to pick up on and respond to each other's energy so quickly that we got through the scene very smoothly."

I now want to go back to last year and have a serious discussion with the first batch of people who read the script. Why did they give Lin Jinqi such a bad review? Why did they create such a long thread on Douban exaggerating the female lead's "golden touch" while belittling the male lead's character, turning Lin Jinqi, who was originally a rare perfect male lead, into a character labeled as "uninteresting," "unexpected," and "just an accessory" by the fandom?

In terms of the script, the male and female leads' storylines run parallel. Each unit ends with them converging on the same event. Anyone who has carefully read the first 22 episodes knows that the main plotlines such as catching someone cheating/being framed by the female villain/black-hearted cotton/saving the crown prince/sending the deposed crown prince out of the city are all planned and implemented by Lin Jinqi. The female lead does help, but only in a supporting role.

Those who gave the initial reviews focused on the female lead's parallel storylines and insisted that Lin Jinqi didn't help at all; the female lead solved everything herself. I ask you, wasn't Lin Jinqi's career storyline also progressing at the same time? Do you understand what "dual storylines" means? Does he have to be confined to the inner quarters, handling every little detail? Doesn't he need to accumulate military merits and rise through the ranks? Without a career path, how can he achieve such a title?

Some people are dissatisfied with the "Lin Jinqi is super in love" setting, even angry that he's unconditionally good to the female lead. Please, Lin Jinqi's super in love is a plot device; the goal is for the audience to enjoy it. Is it enough for Lin Jinqi to ignore the female lead, constantly arguing and suppressing her with a cold face? What are the audience watching then? The audience likes a male lead who is super in love and in a pure love story! If Lin Jinqi is truly a cold-faced character, a few individuals might be satisfied, but what about the overwhelming criticism from casual viewers? Have you forgotten what caused the most upvoted comments in Chunhua Yan's (From "Kill me love me")comment section regarding the poison Jinghe fed him? Have you forgotten what caused the first wave of criticism during the promotional campaign regarding Shen Zaiye's(From "Princess Gambit") ruthless character?

From the script, it seems the screenwriter deliberately crafted the concepts of "forced marriage," "it's still you after all the twists and turns," and "predestined fate" to reinforce the theme of forced marriage. Many plot points intentionally prevent the female lead from falling in love immediately. Some viewers, upon seeing the story, immediately feel aggrieved, questioning why Lin Jinqi (the male lead) is so devoted to the female lead, equating this with weakness [black line]. While drama fans fall in love with Lin Jinqi the moment they see him being wronged, you immediately abandon the character? What are you being so dramatic about?

Lin Jinqi is, in my opinion, a perfect male lead. He excels in his career, family, and romantic relationships, handling everything with meticulous care. He's beautiful, strong, and tragic (in terms of relationships). I hope those who like Lin Jinqi will start supporting this character. He's truly wonderful, and he's also truly wronged. Even before his debut, he suffered over a year of disdain and contempt, all stemming from the highly subjective opinions of a few individuals.

The drama is about to air, and other fan groups are gearing up for a big push, while many of our fans are still focused on judging Lin Jinqi for everything. Is this right? Is this a normal fandom? Is this reasonable? Can we stop judging him? Can we start maintaining the data as usual? Can we stop being so temperamental? Can we calm down and stop blaming everyone? Can we?
