Jazz For FOUR , A Therapy !!
first of all I was so excited about this drama since it was on of my fav manhwa's adaption . the concept , actors , storyline , production everything is on the level , acting was pretty good ( Although it was debut project of some of the actors ) and the OST '' !! chief kiss !! ASTCO Couples Cameo was unexpected n I love it , ik they will change some of parts from the original manhwa, still hoping that they don't change too much coz the manhwa was awesome ( 10/10 ) , one thing that I don't understand ik it's drama but still they're students why do they have to wear so much heavy makeup , for example Yoon se heon' lipstick ( was too deep ) n for seo Do Yoon ( dyed hair, bracelets , earrings blah blah) I mean it's school not fashion show babe !!Was this review helpful to you?

So much to love but...
There is so much about this drama that I absolutely loved.Cinematography, music, actual engaging plot, good acting and very good chemistry between both couples.
The cons on the other hand...
Yikes the violence and SA is never okay. It doesn't matter if it's a gay or straight relationship, you should never EVER be okay with this kind of treatment. I feel like the production team just wanted drama and 'spice' but violence, verbal harasment and SA is not it. And there could have been so many other options other than violence to show that the MLs didn't get along in the beginning. The SML's actions somewhat explained themselves by the intense internalized homophobia (somewhat implied but mostly understandable from his monologue) but you can't use the same motivation for THREE characters in a drama this short. You certainly can, but should you? The motivation of three characters is sensitive but here becomes redundant without even having a proper insight into each characters background.
I think internalized homophobia and fear are very good and sensitive subjects that should be disgussed in kbls. BUT Tae Yi's motives are written VERY lackluster and he is supposed to be the other male lead. His reaction to Seheon kissing him was way too much if you're not going to justify or explain his reaction at all. SA is not normal and I'm quite horrified over how this scene was written in here without any proper concequenses. The drama is also so short that the emotional payoff from Taeyi's realization isn't there at all.
I can't help but feel more for Jooha since we somehow got more insight into his head than Taeyi's, at least when it comes to pushing his crush away. At least Taeyi's thoughts were coherently cinematized and as a viewer I finally got to understand his character from that scene in ep 7. And then there is the trainwreck of Taeyi's reaction to the kiss immediately after and I can't help but feel very disgusted over Taeyi's reaction. This direction and the timing of these scenes aren't ideal, at all. And it feels like we are watching Jooha's and Doyoon's kiss again, but Taeyi isn't even supposed to be the cold bully.. ? His reaction isn't justified and I'm sorry that I have probably said that multiple times already but no I'm not actually sorry. His reaction was not it.
Despite everything I enjoyed the plot and found it very engaging at times but this drama still had a ton of things to improve. I'm quessing that screentime and budget plays a big role on how much and what they could do and film.
BUT there is no way that a professional director could fuck up a fake kiss that badly. That kiss scene between Jooha and Doyoon was the worst fake kiss I've ever seen. I would have preferred a thumb over the lips kinda kiss over this awful camera angle fail but I'm not blaming the actors. Doyoon's actor is an idol so I'm not very surprised if he was adviced against a real samesex onscreen kiss. That's okay, I guess. Kisses aren't everything to a romance drama. The ep 7 hug scene on the other hand was incredibly impressive and emotional. So much so that I felt very connected to the characters. Can't help but want more from the side couple.
I'm sad that the director and writing team seems to be the root of all the problems in this drama.

For Jazz Loversss
Love it so much, as someone who is in love with jazz, I am totally happy to see a bl drama, that have jazz as The main plot. So I definitely recommend this drama If you're interested in jazz music and of course bl. If You want to watch it or if you're interested in it, I Would like to warn some of y'all. Just Keep in mind that all of the Character's personality is for the plot. Well sure, There are some "stupidity" on some of them, but you still need to keep in mind that everyone has their own personality, don't compare them to yours. That's all, Just a little bit of warning/disclaimer or whatever. Really enjoyed this series, hope we get season 2!!!Was this review helpful to you?

"Unlocking Emotions: The Magnetic Power of Music"
First of all, the director did a wonderful job by selecting kpop artists who has knowledge about it, and the main leads are amazing in music as well as acting too. The guy who plays trumpet(taeyi) he is almost similar to the guy in the eighth sense, the guy with depression, idk they got inspired from it or else copied same attitude of the guy due to matching character he is playing. Our yoon se hoon stoles the show with his cuteness and acting, 2 nd couple is our bully as well as do yoon who has great & amazing chemistry in limited time frame and they did a good job too. We need more cute scenes of this couple. The surprise couple our taeyi's oppa and yoon se hoon's oppa there chemistry is too short than other 2 couples. They did not even showed how he died! Remaining and all did good job and i love how they said small details of the music they are going to play what is it! who did this work, what was his name and the name of the music etc. It is very rare to see trumpet played by main lead of the series which was quite amazing to see as well as notes are on the point, idk that much about it but it was so addictive notes too. Basically i think so it was originally inspired from eighth sense (bl) but that is different and this one too because the eighth sense is about trauma and depression alone but in this they have added jazz or music with trauma, Overall, it was a nice try and cute romance between the leads too.Was this review helpful to you?
Cute little watch
I love this couple, they are cute together, would wanna see more of them. 2nd couple is cute too. It's a cute sweet little KBL school story, nothing fancy or major, but it's a a nice watch. It makes me smile and happy watching it.
It's not those "must watch" but I don't regret watching it either
It's just very typical KBL really, so there is nothing much to review lol Don't expect this to be like Last Twilight or anything like that, but it really is pretty decent!

One of the best!
I've watched many KBLs and for me this is one of the best, there is something about the story and casting that makes it really good. After watching I got curious with the webtoon that I ended up reading it, because I want more. I also love the main CP but I don't know, I fell so much in love with Jooha x Doyoon, their chemistry is over roof that a lot is wishing for a Spin-off or season 2. The OSTs are also great, this is just wonderful 🤧Was this review helpful to you?
The music was so good!
I loooooved the ost so much! The way that they matched the music to the vibe of the show is so good.I also love the story and the acting. The two side character felt a bit awkward in my opinion. But the chemistry of the main couple is really good.
the pacing of the story was good and I loved the ending.

I think it was really good
I think the story was very nice. I haven't read the webtoon, so I don't know if the series is a perfect match for the webtoon. But I still think the series is well done. Of course I have questions like: What about the father or the brother? What about Doyoon and Jooha? But the main focus was on Taeyi and Sehon and we know that they have a happy end. Of course they could have made the series longer to to clarify any ambiguities. But I still think the series was well made. I enjoyed it and finished it really fast. And I think the story was really cute. Was this review helpful to you?
decent
decent tbh, not bad. I liked it a lot but it’s not the best thing I’ve EVER watched. I like how they portrayed inner conflict and deep rooted homophobia but I don’t like the fact that although the side couple were problematic, they were more interesting than the main. I found myself more curious about them than the main couple, even though their dynamic is one that I wouldn’t support. also I kind of think that the chemistry for the main couple wasn’t very good and I would have liked to see more romantic scenes of them, but overall, they were goodWas this review helpful to you?
One of the bl that has left a deep impression on me
One of the best korean bl that i have ever watched! We dont usually see a bl that involves music with it but this is definitely a masterpiece! The pacing isnt rushed and each characters backstories is explained very well! The plot is very interesting and im sure everyone will relate to it! The acting is superb as always! I also love the chaotic but sweet interaction of each characters! The soundtrack and ost's that was used are so beautiful! I really loved watching bl's where the main leads or characters showcase their talents! Kudos to the whole production of this series for giving us a high quality bl! It is truly a gem that is definitely worth to watch! ❣️Was this review helpful to you?
its cute
its a cute short series. it shows people trying to learn to accept themselves how they are and learning to let people in and love. itnisnt my usual watch but i recommend it. the actors dod a good job and I loved the music in the show. the second couple caught my attention more than the main..i wish they could have made it longer as the ending did seem rushed but the ending is a good one.
if you like cute dramas i recommend it. even if you like heavier dramas like me i recommend it

Needs more character development.
Seheon is the youngest son of a Music Professor and his older Brother is gifted when it comes to music. His Father is prejudiced about music. He feels that only Classical Music is worth playing. Seheon plate the Piano and he loves Jazz Music. His Father has him practicing playing Classical almost every waking hour. With the exception of School Work, eating and sleep. He transfers to a special High School, in his Sophomore year, after being home schooled. There he eventually meets Seyi, who also loves Jazz. Things between the two of them don't start off well. Seyi tells Seheon that if he ever finds Seheon playing the Piano in that room again he will kill him.A little while later we meet Juha. He is 1-2 years ahead of Seheon and Seyi in School. He has an axe to grind with Seyi. After noticing Seyi seems to care about Seheon he decides he will get "friendly" with Seheon to get even with Seyi. As time goes on Seyi stops being antagonistic towards Seheon. Seheon starts to develop feelings for Seyi due to his kindness. One day after Seyi takes care of a cut on Seheon's hand, Seheon leans over and kisses Seyi. Seyi wipes off his mouth and walks out. After sometime and introspection Seyi comes to realize he does like Seheon.
Personally, while I feel this a good Drama and definitely worth watching, I feel it was too short and they need to spend some more time on character development. After Seheon returns home after running away from home, his Father is furious with him and starts a fight. You can see that his Father does love him and was worried about him but can't express it properly. I would like to have seen what made him that way. Seheon's older cares about him and tries to always act as a go between with Dad and Seheon. I would also like to have seen why his Father lets him practice Jazz and enter the Festival. I would also liked to it if they showed a little of Juha 's background and why originally a bully. I feel that they should have added about 2 more episodes. To flesh out the characters. It felt a little rushed towards the end. It is worth rewatching and hopefully they will make a season 2 to give us a little more backstory for the characters and maybe give us more time with the 2nd Couple, Doyoon and Juha.
