The up and downs of the timed quest

The most interesting character for me is definitely Zhu Yan. He clearly has secrets of his own—deals made off-screen or perhaps before our story even began. I wonder if his red aura signals something good or something extremely bad. Does it somehow link to the death of Wen Xiao’s master? 🤨🤔

Poor little healer boy—he is so out of his comfort zone! Forced to smell foul things, see way too much violence, and even perform autopsies on dead bodies, while constantly getting jump-scared by his team members, especially Zhu Yan. Of course that gives us plenty of comedy, but I feel for the guy! 😂🫂

And they have a timed quest, for god’s sake, or all of them will have to die. Pressure button pushed and now they must quickly solve the case whose investigation the other bureau has sabotaged even before they hired our team to do that... 😬😓

I also loved seeing some recognizable faces among the guest roles; that’s always a highlight for me. 😉✨
