Similar problems as with the 3rd episode

Once again the editing and scene transitions are just not well done and the story delivery just feels like someone is tearing pages out of a book and throwing them at us. And wow, the pretentiousness in the script - in particular every word out of the Lin Lu character's mouth - is so bad it's hard not to laugh at it ( and those lines aren't supposed to be funny ). Even the fight scenes look very staged and not continuous - camera switches look like they jump to a completely different fight. And don't get me started on just how cringe the script has been around almost everything to do with the Bai Jiu character. I really love the cast of actors so I'll stick with this for a bit but this is frustrating. Neo and Chen Du Ling are two of my fav actors and I really hope the script gives them more to work with. Both of their characters seem kinda boxed-in and almost stuck with robotic lines so far.

It's getting even more interesting

I love watching how the group slowly grows closer and starts to care for each other. I love the little sarcastic comedy and banter between the members. ❤️🤗😏

The story itself is slowly picking up and I wonder how they will solve this case. Clearly, Zhu Yan is protecting the Water Demon in a way, even though all the evidence is against him. I think there's way more to the case than they have shown us. We shall see! 🤔

I’m still loving the visuals, the atmosphere, the music—practically everything! ❤️

Flashbacks are all over the place

I like the information provided in the flashbacks but not dissimilar to the humour in episode 3, the jump from present to flashback was difficult to enjoy the episode holistically.Love the reunion of Riley and Neo.
