Su Yi Shui was involved in some political schemes, and while being aware of the fact that he was being used as a tool, Su Yi Shui was struggling to save himself. On the other hand, Mu Qing Ge was misinterpreted as a demoness simply because she was a nonconformist.

Love of the Divine Tree Episode 3 Reactions
So the thing inside Su Yi Shi is demonic and used by the corrupted Ping. And I think that masked man is the king of Hell or a traitor of the demon realm. Mu Qin Ge is actually trying to help Su Yi Shi not becoming a demon or something evil instead of her ascending to the immortality. What a great and sad idea. It proves how I love to be against the immortals for a while.

It's very good, no dullness at all, and Yi Shui is very handsome I'm obsessed with this drama everything is perfect story acting ost plot development

I love the chemistry between the main actors and the costumes. Whilst the drama is quiet common, I love to see that the female lead is bold and colourful

Let just say I’ll be charitable by giving it a 4, because at least I’m no longer irritable with this series, I just don’t care any more, and so I’ll drop it here. At this point, the story was in the past, there isn’t much chemistry still between the two leads when you should see some, especially with the change in dynamic. The FL is young, at best 30yo (her sister seems to be 20ish, n they got saved by a young Prince, who also look around 30 at best), but she acts like shes been at this for 100+ years, her sassy was also not fiery enough. I’m just not convinced, and the clip I saw off their future interaction also show very weak chemistry. I’ll drop it here, this is just not for me!

Mu Qingge is trying to make him her student in order to protect the future from the problem that will arise in future. But he's dead set that je won't become her student, because he has his own goal to achieve.
