Su Yi Shui and Mu Qing Ge connect the dots again and infer that Dun Tian wasn’t really after the Gold Refining Fire; it was just a diversion. He wants to go to a parallel world in which he didn’t choose to ascend and didn’t sacrifice his family. When the fire is found, Dun Tian forces the Celestial Sect to steal it, and the remaining demon energy of the Demon Lord possesses Su Yi Shui. He opens a way from the Scarlet Abyss to the netherworld and summons the Spirit Spring. Afterwards, he wreaks havoc throughout the world. Finally, Tu Jiu Yuan leaves the Celestial Sect.
