Good but leaky plot

It could have been a much better drama but the oft repeated plot of rebirth/amnesia/forgotten trope was really annoying by the 30th episode. But saving grace was it was kept fairly short and resolved quickly. Overall the story was pretty good. Nothing new in the dept of sacrificing oneself and then having it return and the karma repeat itself. That’s the gist of most love cdrama in historical setting anyway. Very good acting from both leads. I like the majority of the characters whom found redemption. Nice touch.

I'll miss Qingge's iconic Character

So Su Yu sacrificed his life at the end to prevent Dun Tian from forming the Tower completely and he killed the shadow person too. The final fight is full of Lightning, but it's pretty good. This man just won't give up but thankfully the immortals arrived in time, and destroyed his plan. But truly Dun Tian's character was selfish it didn't look like remorse for his family, but his own selfish plans all along. I'm happy that they passed on the Sovereign position to Senior Bai. And finally their wedding. Oh this Disobedient disciple is way too naughty, he was too eager to go to the bed chamber. They had 3 children and he talked about working tonight on the fourth. The ending was beautiful, I really enjoyed this drama it was a beautiful journey, I'll miss Qingge her character was iconic.

This felt more like an epilogue than a finale,…

This felt more like an epilogue than a finale, but I love it! After the action of the previous episode, a satisfying and calm end to all troubles is well deserved by the characters.
