I made two articles highlighting the main couple's romance for the 2016 and 2024 timelines separately. Also summarized/linked three extra scenes after their marriage (not in the drama).

The link to the 2024 timeline is broken.

Thanks for informing! The link was correct, but after pasting it on MDL, MDL broke the link. Sometimes, it happens, no matter how many times I double-check every link. I repasted it on the OP, or try this:

I read your timeline summary and really enjoyed it. I appreciate that fact that you correctly called out Li Wu's forced kiss of Cen Jin as sexual assault, albeit a relatively minor example. I suspect its due to the patriarchal Chinese society they the writers are raised in, but it annoys me how many Chinese scriptwriters include (and often romanticise) non-consensual romantic/sexual behaviour in dramas. A male forcing themselves onto a clearly unwilling female demonstrates a total lack of respect of her as a person. It reflects an entitlement that because he is male, and he wants to do that to a female, he simply can, so he does.

Imagine you just started watching this drama, and as early as Episode 3, you saw that scene... of course, you would call him out, right? Without understanding the situation or background of their past relationship. Then, after about 2/3 of the drama, when the 2016 timeline ends, you kinda get it that at that scene, his feelings were a mix of anger, pain, yearning, and love (in my opinion). But still, it was shocking me, so I called him out, lol.
