Both dramas were romance fantasy. Both were adapted from novel. It is set on historical setting and has xianxia and wuxia elements.

Both are light xianxia dramas in which both leads have a connection to plants with one or both being the personification of one. Both MLs are injured/ill in some way resulting in them having a limited lifespan.

Both are light xianxia dramas in which the ML is a personification of something in nature (moon vs. flower) who has been injured and cast down to earth where he meets the plucky human FL with whom he has a supernatural connection. Both dramas have a similar vibe.
