The Third Marriage

Similarities:
- Both are daily makjang
- Both are quite fast paced
- Both centers an affair: in both dramas FL's best friend seduce their husband and has a child with said husband. also in both dramas the ''best friend'' justify their betrayal because FL parents wronged them (In third marriage Seran thinks Dajung's dad killed hers while in Queen's House Seri was humiliated by Jaein's mother.
- In both dramas there are tragic deaths before the revenge arc
- Both FL are dumb and make stupid decision before revenge arc, however i would say Jaein is way more dumb than Dajung.
- Both ML also wants revenge

Differences:
- Third Marriage FL is poor and starts off as an orphan before finding her family while Jaein is rich and starts off with a family before some of them die and betray her
- In Queen's House, FL ex-husband is a full on villain, almost satan himself, while Third Marriage's FL ex-husband is just dumb and foolish and later on regret having an affair and divorcing FL.
- Third Marriage only has Seran and her mother as the main villains, while in Queen's House almost everyone is a villain and betrays FL, including her own family.

One of the leads is on both. Cheating Husband. Same Suspense feeling...Missing mother.. Strong Antagonist.. Some of the actors were on both .. Some of the same locations

They have the same writer, both dailies are centered around the hospitality industry (the third marriage = restaurant, the first man = hotel + restaurant) and Yoon Sunwoo (Baekho) ALSO plays the ML here. Big difference is he has his own secret revenge arc going that's separate from the FLs... Choi Jiyeon (Youngja) is also in this drama, although her character is extremely unlikeable here lol. The FL Dajeong is a little similar to Jangmi at the beginning although she actually pulls her "revenge marriage" off (and story wise it actually makes sense). You'll see a lot of the same tropes used in both dramas as both are part of Seo Hyunjoo's unofficial "Nth Series", along with The Second Husband.
Personally I liked Seran as a villain, just like Hwayoung there's no limit for as far she will go (and boy does Seran go pretty far) and just like Hwayoung she tends to get the upper hand...

Also Ban Hyojung is a legend, period.
