Arai Naoto, a CODA (child of deaf adults), struggles with failures in his job and marriage. Unable to open up to his family or girlfriend, he starts working as a sign language interpreter. As he settles into his new life, a request to interpret in court forces Naoto to confront a past incident, intertwining the mysteries of two cases, one from the past and one from the present.
