I don't know how to describe it. Something about the cinematography ,maybe the natural scenery in lovesea really reminds me of " itsay".
Itsay definitely is such a masterpiece in every single way compared to lovesea .but lovesea also managed to capture some level of that angst .

Both have a seaside setting. One ML is a resident, the other a stranger who arrives. The MLs have a grumpy/sunshine dynamic and come from very different worlds.

I don't know how this was missed cz here we have similar dynamics between the leads prapai and sky. Its just that the trauma is different.

Here fort is a green flag and pete is someone who is afraid to love so it's pretty similar except in love in the air the trauma is sexual abuse but here its family abuse which leads to fear of love

Both have a lead who is a writer, both have steamy scenes (love sea is more intense). Both have cute main leads and a more dominant male lead. Both involve work issues and friendships.

Both are BL series whereby the main character goes to a rural area to find his purpose. In Sky Valley (Filipino BL), the MC goes to a mountain town with horses and in Love Sea, he goes to a beach town. There is also a side GL plot in both as well.
