Could be better.
Para Kang Papa Mo is a heart-warming movie with an ending I wish had gone differently. The movie may come off as preachy, but there are lessons we can learn from it.The story is simple and has a good premise. Although the jokes didn't land and I barely laughed, I enjoyed watching it. I had a good watching experience, considering the story was easy to follow, and I was rooting for the main characters to achieve their dreams. It had some emotional moments, and I cried at the end.
The writing isn't good enough. There should be more moments between Anton and Hermione to make the story more impactful. Their scenes aren't enough. Also, it overused certain profanities. I'm not saying there shouldn't be profanities, but it's boring to listen to the same word repeatedly. However, I liked the dialogues related to faith.
It's not a must-watch, but people looking to watch a simple filler movie can watch this.
