High School Frenemy

Some similarities:

Some differences:
- Weak Hero Class 1 is about the top student Yeon Sieun, who appears weak on the outside, but finally fights against the violence of the school bullies with impressive finesse. He makes two new friends who support him
- High School Frenemy is about a group of badly behaved students from two opposing classes. They are put into the same class because the teachers want them to finally make peace. The focus is on Shin and Saint. They used to be best friends, but now Shin sees Saint as his enemy

Some similarities:
- dark high school drama about badly behaved students who keep causing problems and need to be educated "properly"
- both are produced by GMMTV and many of the actresses and actors from Home School are also in High School Frenemy
- various friendships and rivalries
- many of the students hate each other and get into fights all the time

- students have family problems that they have to deal with
- some focus on the teachers and their efforts and plans to educate the students

Some differences:
- in Home School, the students are put into a boarding school somewhere in the woods, from which they cannot leave. They have to find out what secret the "Home School" is trying to hide
- in High School Frenemy, the students are in a school in the city, which has two rival campuses. The students from two opposing classes are put into the same class because the teachers want them to finally make peace
- at the center of Home School is Maki. She is looking for her brother, who also used to go to "Home School" and has mysteriously disappeared
- at the center of High School Frenemy are Shin and Saint. They used to be best friends, but now Shin sees Saint as his enemy

High School Frenemy is the actual Thai version of School 2013 Korean version. I'm a bit surprised it's not part of the recommendations.

They both have very similar premises. High School Frenemy focuses more on the relationships and Study Group has momre comedy but they're both fantastic action youth dramas!

Both are currently airing from GMMTV which are non-bl/ bromance series. Both series have really good bromance chemistry with great acting from the whole casts.

Some differences:
- High School Return of a Gangster has a supernatural aspect. It's about the 47-year-old gangster Deuk Pal who ends up in the body of a high school student. This student is a victim of cruel bullying. Deuk Pal wants to fight against the bullies to punish them and becomes friends with classmate Choi Se Kyung
- High School Frenemy is about a group of badly behaved students from two opposing classes. They are put into the same class because the teachers want them to finally make peace. The focus is on Shin and Saint. They used to be best friends, but now Shin sees Saint as his enemy

This isn't a bl explicitly but the male leads have pretty intense chemistry and tension through out that makes it better than so many of the actual bl's out there.

- At times, leads in both shows act like enemies and sometimes act like friend and in HSF (the bromance is very strong giving off a soulmate vibe for Saint and Shin)

Dark high school series vibes with bullying and fighting between students. There is also a sense of mystery and a strong and complicated (non-romantic) relationship between the 2 main male characters as they navigate the school system.

They have similar plots as in both take place in high school and deal with gangs. Also great (b)romance

-Both are "bromance" series that share a school setting, fights and some gangs.
-Main leads have a strong connections and great chemistry.
-They have a little sister figure in both series.
-Leads also loses a mother and suffers from poverty.

Both focus on teenage best friends in high school, where one is stronger and determined to fight to protect the other from adults and gang violence.

Both feature a conflict between the best friends as a major plot point.

Both have strong bromances.

Both are set in oppressive school systems with their own unique set of rules. Both showcase class struggles between characters even though High School Frenemy is set in an ordinary school and Restart is set in an elite school.

When Siamwit School faces financial struggles, administrator Paphada decides to merge the Udon Phithak campus with the main campus, Thep Burapha, despite their long-standing rivalry.

Saint, the apathetic leader of class M.5/2, once led a gang of bullies in middle school. He’s now forced to deal with the rebellious and hot-headed Shin, with whom he once shared a close friendship, but a violent fallout shattered it. Their rivalry sparks a classroom war, and teachers Jan and Sung must unite to resolve the conflict and facilitate reconciliation between Saint and Shin.

Both the shows are about 2 best friends who grow up together but then have a big fight which breaks them apart .They meet each other again in high school where they reconcile.
They both have some good script ,amazing chemistry b/w the leads and great acting.
"I told the sunset abt u " is a BL and "high school frenemy" is a BL disguised as a bromance ?( u will understand what I mean after u watch it )
