Reviews
Its been far too long since a GOOD cooking drama comes in, but with the ladies
I agree. Its refreshing to see cooking theme series. Its been wayyy too long since they make one, a really good one here. For once, I enjoyed every episodes, though I found myself needing to catch a breather in between. Romance wise, a bit of a slow cook (uh huh, no pun intended lol) but it pays of well. What stands out the most for me is the display, the presentation of every single dish is WOW. They took the time to explain about each of them, giving you an understanding on its origin, what they did differently. Oh yes, the way they feature the chef, ML cook is soooo tempting. Spot on! for the effect. You can see the team is really giving their 101% for it.
And
Its a pretty heartwarming theme aside from its comedy. It has a meaning to the reason why the ML took the role as a chef, which as you watch you will find out.
Most of the loopholes here, I hope they will show us when season 2 comes out.
What suprised me?? I mean...the finale seems a bit like, a somewhat borrowed idea from Stephen Chow. So, I unintentionally started to expect things to unfold as it is. Some lines in there too were rushed, so you only get 3/4 of the effect. If they slow it down, and add more time to let it sink, you will get people to tears....it would have been so much more better. Oh well, since we have a season 2 coming...I can close an eye for the scene. The whole finale, 2nd part felt rushed.
If not, this would have been a 9.5/10. I decided to give this an 8/10.

Barely acceptable.
