Absolutely darling and fluffy RomCom
If you like fluffy and legitimately funny RomComs this needs to get to the top of your list fast. Story has some surprisingly deep themes without being heavy. It is a WONDERFUL watch. Enjoyed every moment with the cast of characters. Acting was great, everyone played their parts well. The story was excellently written and the pacing was great. Every couple episodes a new twist is introduced which keeps the story fresh and fun.Was this review helpful to you?

A well-executed refreshing and fun premise!
I really loved this one. The second leads especially were particularly adorable to me, but once all the miscommunication got cleared up, I definitely grew to enjoy the main leads and they were charming and had a really sweet chemistry with each other.
There were some really good comedic moments in this one (the Alpaca comes to mind and a lot of the filter mishaps have funny elements to it - for example, the invisibility stuff had it's funny moments, and the VFX for that added to the comedy of those moments.)
The VFX and cinematography were all really well done, they definitely had a decent budget for the filter stuff! I also enjoyed the OST! Some drama's the OST is overdone to the point it gets a bit annoying and repetitive but this one was enjoyably catchy and didn't get overplayed too much with a few different versions of the OST in parts.
It was so nice to see the development of Chengcheng's confidence throughout the series and the contrast between Chengcheng at the beginning of the show to the end, feeling happy and fulfilled in her relationships, friendships and career, and finally seen, surrounded by her loved ones was areally lovely to see.
The friendships and dynamics between the characters were so fun and refreshing, Lin Yuan and Chengcheng's friendship comes to mind, but also Gu Yu and Tang Qi's too. The underlying women-supporting-women theme throughout was executed really well imo, esp w the Fang Jin storyline and Chengcheng's friendship with her coworker.
Overall, it was a really fun premise and message that had a pretty satsifying ending. I have very minor complaints but I don't really like to dwell too much on the negatives because this was such a comforting watch and I had a lot of fun with this one!

Alpaca steals the show!
Went into Filter with very little expectation and only watched it because of Tian Jianci and Li Landi…. Didn’t expect to laugh so much that my sides hurt!Filter makes some important points about beauty (skin deep or otherwise) and perceptions of it. Did Tang Qi fall in love with Su Miao (Su Cheng Cheng’s alter ego) only because she’s beautiful or because she’s fundamentally a beautiful person? Won’t go into the plot as other reviews have already done so but let’s just say the alpaca ‘twist’ in ep. 8 was so funny, it deserves an award for acting！
What really surprised me was what great comic actors both FL and ML were. Jianci dancing to coax a smile and try to relax Su Miao at a photo shoot was another super funny scene.
Did not expect a C-drama to be this hilarious!

A very pleasant surprise!
It was a real discovery because I hadn't even read the synopsis before watching the first episode...I loved the plot! It's original and, so far, very well-crafted.
The actors are very good, and the dialogue is downright funny at times.
I'm not usually a big fan of this kind of series. But this one is really good and enjoyable to watch.
I recommend it, even if it's not your favorite genre: if you're going to watch one of this kind, this one is good.
I can't wait to find out the ending.

Didn't work on me...
The storyline is interesting and even unique if i may say.It is also funny.
Somehow the chemistry between the leads is missing. And i seriously dislike the make lead up to this point.
It is a pity i couldn't manage to finish this drama, but i was forcing myself after episode 8, and the moment i started doing it i knew the time had come for me to drop it.
I hope i will a catch a decent watch this year, seems like a very difficult task for me ahahha, nonetheless 7.5/10. If you are not interested on the romantic part and if you are focused on the message the drama is trying to pass on, this drama may be for you! Although i like the original script , i was also looking for something romantic.

It Felt Like I Was Watching A Teenage Fantasy.
**This is just my opinion. I truly appreciate all of the hard work that went into the making of this drama. Thank you.**I only wanted to watch this drama because I've been a fan of Tan Jian Ci's work. He and the rest of the cast in this drama did a very good job. I have no problem at all with the acting. I don't like the characters or the story to the point that I can't force myself to watch it anymore. The description said that the female lead had low self esteem. It didn't say that she failed to make any attempt at all to do what is considered normal for job interviews or to fit in. She just went out the same way she might look if she were to go for a walk in the park or run errands. You can't show up in jeans and sneakers for a marketing interview at a cosmetic or fashion company, bare faced, with your hair in a pony tail and expect them to choose you over candidates who dressed properly. It was infuriating to watch. Su Cheng Cheng not only did these things but refused the advise and help that was offered to her by her sister and her best friend when they tried to get her to wear make up or dress better. She stubbornly refused, then blamed getting rejected on her not being pretty. She is pretty. She just projects this air of not caring about her appearance. Our male lead, Tang Qi, played by Tan Jian Ci, went to school with Su Cheng Cheng, and her best friend when they were younger and has bad memories of her. When he sees her again at their school reunion, he is unkind to her and hurts her feelings. He wasn't just unkind. He was a massive jerk. I don't want to give too much away so I'll leave it at that.
I knew that there was a magic bracelet but I didn't know how far fetched it was going to get. It is like some kind of little girl's Barbie dream fantasy. She was choosing outfits and voices and all I could think was "what am I doing watching this?" . So, there you go. If you want to watch someone live out there fantasies playing with a magic bracelet that lets them change everything about their appearance, voice, etc. including dressing up at the touch of a button, this is for you. If, on the other hand, it's not, you've saved yourself some time.

Não é um excelente roteiro, mas é extremamente engraçado. Em alguns momentos o roteiro beira a idiotice, mas de forma leve e engraçada e, as atuações magnificas dos atores tornam o show bastante agradável. A capacidade cômica da atuação de Tan Jian Ci é natural e fluída. O ator, mais uma vez, encantou em dar vida ao personagem Tan Qi, assim como já havia feito com o inesquecível personagem dramático Xiang Liu. O ator domina a arte de atuar seja em personagens dramáticos (que facilmente arrancam lágrimas), seja em personagens cômicos (que provocam crises intermináveis de risos).As pequenas imperfeições do roteiro são disfarçadas com personagens cativantes e atuações primorosas de todo o elenco. A parceria de Li Lan Di e Tan Jian Ci foi fabulosa.
É o primeiro trabalho que assisto desse diretor, mas gostei como ele conduziu o drama e, principalmente, como finalizou sem correria. Não é uma finalização apoteótica, mas bastante satisfatória e alegre.

Seru banget, tiap episode sukses dibikin cekikikan, sesuai genre lah pokoknya komedinya fresh dan cocok banget, petjah pokoknya. Dari awal liat Su Chengcheng yang insecure sama fisiknya sampe bisa belajar nerima diri dia sendiri tuh beneran relate buat banyak orang, terutama cewek-cewek yang mungkin masih di fase ini juga. Second couple-nya juga lucu dari yang awalnya commitment issue sampe mau belajar buat percaya sama orang yang dia cinta. Gemes banget, chemistry-nya gak usah ditanya, sedihnya juga ada meski udah itu tetep aja dibuat ngakak lagi sama tingkah mereka. Nonton iseng doang gak berekspektasi apa-apa sekarang malah susah move on-nya, please gak mau pisah sama mereka huhuhu. Storia molto carina ma..
Allora, questa storia mi è piaciuta molto; divertente, malinconica e piena di momenti cringe.Devo essere sincera però l'ho sia odiata che amata on una maniera abbastanza snervante.
In alcuni momenti non ho apprezzato l'andamento della storia, sopratutto dal punto di vista di lui l'ho trovato molto superficiale ma, per fortuna è uno di quei personaggi che (con il tempo) migliora mentre lei beh, l'ho amata molto anche se poteva banalmente dirgli che non voleva stare con lui piuttosto che far morire ogni identità... i traumi di quel povero ragazzo😂

Eu e os Cdramas
Comecei esse Cdrama, sem grandes expectativas, mas devo dizer que ele me surpreendeu.
Confesso, que tem muitos anos que eu não passava nem perto de dramas Chineses. Isso porque, os últimos que assisti, antes de tomar a decisão de me afastar de vez das produções chinesas, foram bem ruins.
Mas esse ano eu decidi dar uma nova chance pra China, porque pensei que talvez eu só tenha feito péssimas escolhas no passado, ou só não era pra ser naquele momento mesmo, vai saber?
E quando li a sinopse desse Cdrama pareceu super interessante a história, então porque não dar o beneficio da dúvida pra Filter e quem sabe algum outro Cdrama no futuro também?

O drama
Filter é um drama que me fez dar boas risadas, porque as enrascadas que nossa querida protagonista se mete são super engraçadas.
A história gira em torno de um filtro super tecnológico, capaz de transformar completamente a aparência da nossa protagonista.
Mas vamos entender onde tudo começou primeiro.
Su Cheng Cheng estava tendo um péssimo dia, naquelas reuniões bizarras de ex colegas de escola. Depois de ir embora, ela encontra uma idosa que estava vendendo flores na rua, e como agradecimento por ter lhe comprado várias flores, ela lhe dá de presente uma linda pulseira.
Mas mal sabia ela que essa famigerada pulseira era na verdade: um super filtro, capaz de lhe permitir se transformar em uma linda mulher, ou em qualquer pessoa que ela quisesse ser.
Su Cheng Cheng sempre teve baixa alto estima por causa de sua aparência comum, então esse filtro lhe abriu novos horizontes.
No inicio, foi um baita susto para ela, e parecia que finalmente ela poderia superar os preconceitos que sua real aparência lhe traziam. Então, a cada dia, ela começa a usar a pulseira com mais frequência, o que faz com que ela esteja cada vez mais envolvida em uma enorme teia de disfarces e mentiras.

A reflexão
Um aspecto que achei super interessante no drama, foi que uma coisa que parecia super inocente, acabou se tornando em uma baita lição de moral.
Além de fazer os personagens refletirem sob o impacto que a aparência pode ter nas relações interpessoais, o drama é capaz de levar essa reflexão para o telespectador.
Me peguei pensando sobre isso em diversos momentos, e acho que é um tema que precisamos pensar mais a respeito.
Até que ponto as aparências podem influenciar nossas vidas? Em que momento nos tornamos tão superficiais, ao ponto de valorizar mais o exterior do que o interior de uma pessoa?
Tem uma série de desdobramentos na trama que nos levam a reflexão, principalmente os acontecimentos da reta final do drama. Mas não vou adentrar no mérito para não te dar spoilers.

O romance
Voltando ao assunto principal, eu simplesmente amei o desenvolvimento do romance entre os protagonistas.
Nossa protagonista não estava em busca de viver um grande romance quando embarcou nessa jornada com o filtro, mas é claro que a vida tinha outros planos pra ela.
Confesso, que no inicio eu achei o protagonista um babacão, superficial e grudento, mas com o tempo pude entender melhor o personagem e percebi que houve muitos mal entendidos entre os dois tanto no passado, como no presente que acabaram fazendo com que tivéssemos uma péssima primeira impressão de Tang Qi.

Finalização
Gostaria de falar também sobre a amiga da protagonista, seu relacionamento amoroso e suas atitudes na reta final da trama, mas não consigo fazê-lo sem incorrer em um caminhão de spoilers que poderiam estragar sua experiência com o drama. Então fica pra próxima.
Em suma, Filter é um drama bem desenvolvido, divertido, descontraído com ótimos personagens e com um Q reflexivo.

Ps: esse drama tem uma ost bem legal, a abertura é bem engraçada e eu dificilmente pulava, a música principal do casal é daquelas que fica na sua cabeça.

Una obra diferente y necesaria
Absolutamente maravilloso en todos los aspectos. La trama, el concepto, el casting, las interpretaciones, la estética, el timing... Todo. Y con grandes enseñanzas para la vida. Añadamos que tiene grandes dosis de comedia bien llevada y momentos preciosos y emocionantes sin truculencias innecesarias. Buenas escenas de acción.
