RoFan-Sci-Fi series, quite funny and very well acted.

PLOT: The FL, an ordinary unemployed woman (somewhat neglected by her family in favor of her more beautiful and brilliant sister), receives a "filter" bracelet one evening of despair, allowing her to change her appearance. The FL takes advantage of this to get recruited into the company of the ML (a man who is unsociable and isolated due to his vision problems - her former high school crush). The FL will prove herself at work, but her relationship with the ML is complicated (he falls in love with all of her "filtered characters").

+++ A bunch of great actors (all the main leads), but especially Tan Jian Ci (his performance is amazing) ♡ඩ⌔ඩ♡
+++ Really good production with high-quality CGI (It was necessary :)
+++ OSTs well suited to the atmosphere (funny, light, sweet)
+++ The message is aimed at women (Asian women place excessive importance on their appearance, a cultural constraint): "Love yourself, be yourself." The second romance, very cute, questions relationships and marriage. It's fresh!! Too bad it's linked to childhood trauma...

### The plot is very wacky, but the storyline is relatively coherent. However, you have to accept some VERY excessive twists, especially in the last part...

=> Overall, an excellent series, highlighting Tan Jian Ci's talent and full of dialogues of somewhat artificial wisdom. But go watch it, you'll have a great time.

Série Rom- Fantasy - Sci Fi, assez drôle et très bien interprétée.

PLOT: La FL, femme ordinaire sans emploi (un peu négligée par sa famille au profit de sa sœur + belle et + brillante), reçoit un soir de désespoir, un bracelet "filtre" permettant de changer son apparence. La FL en profite pr se faire recruter ds la Cie du ML (homme peu sociable et isolé en raison de ses pbs de vue - son ancien crush de lycée). La FL fera ses preuves au travail, mais les relat° avec le ML sont compliqués (il tombe amoureux de tous ses "personnages filtrés").

La 2nde romance, très cute, remet en question les relations, le mariage. C'est frais !! Dommage que ce soit mis en relation avec des traumas d'enfance ...

### Le plot est très farfelu, mais la storyline est relativement cohérente. Il faut cpdt accepter certains twists TRES excessifs, surtt ds la dernière partie...

=> Globalement une excellente série, mettant en lumière le talent de Tan Jian Ci et bourrée de dialogues d'une sagesse un peu artificielle. Mais allez la voir, vous passerez un très bon moment.

Beauty is skin deep,only inner beauty and love stand tall above all!!

Filter,can be labelled as one of the most unique drama of all the chinese dramas I have watched so far.
I liked it's way of storytelling to convey a message that outer appearance is not important but what matters most is the inner beauty or character of a person.
The whole plot is based on the concept of staying true to ourselves and being real.And ,Filter has really made use of a technology based filter bracelet,which can change appearances,voices and also upgrades everytime with new functions.The best part is that,the drama is designed in a humorous way along with a good message underlying beneath the chaos and confusion.
Li Landing as Su Chengcheng,has given her best performance.She is strong,casual,smart, intelligent,kind, cheerful and also helpful.
Tan Jianci as Tang Qi is awesome 👍 Tang Qi,is serious,smart, intelligent,and also a person who tries to see the end of every matter he deals with.He is a person with high patience levels and also has a loving nature in him.His love only for Su Chengcheng,though she changes appearances,is remarkable and sweet!!
Gu Yu,Lin Yuan,Su Qingli,Su Miao,Fang Jin,Quan Shengtang and her parents and all the actors were excellent.
The music, costumes, locations, everything are good.
Filter is a highly recommended watch for its unique concept of storytelling interlaced with humour to convey that attitude and character of a person are everything.

One of the best dramas in my opinion.

Filter (from my pov) was
about how you as a person are so much more than you looks. And comparison really is the thief of joy cuz you are you. And more. Made me laugh a lot it was a comedy, but then has very serious messages and sometimes even made me cry. 9.5/10 only because sometimes it was a bit slow. But a great show. If I remember it it's probably a 10/10. But the messages are very relevant at this day and age with social media and technology etc as well.

At first I didn't like the ML much, but dw keep watching if you feel the same way.

I'll give casting/acting 10/10 only because they did such a great job. Clearly the actress is stunning so perhaps the character may not seem like it suits her, but I've seen her before in Don't disturb my study and she really didn't disappoint. Her acting skills are superb. By the end I was convinced this was a great cast for the show. Even if at the beginning I was like... they didn't even try to make her look bad 😹

A Modern Sci-Fi Comedy Done Well

PROS
Great writing, even greater comedy than anticipated, and I’m IN LOVE with the 羊驼 (alpaca) song. And this drama is yet another data point to convince me that Gao Han Yu (Gu Yu's actor) only knows how to play incredibly likable characters.

CONS
The ML and FL had flaws in the beginning that I was not fond of (the FL was too quick to assume the ML’s bad intentions once or twice, and ML was unnecessarily unapologetic about his rude, yet truthful comments on appearance). Upon reflection, if I were in their shoes I would have acted the same, but I like to place an unrealistic expectation on drama characters to be more righteous, logical, compassionate and merciful than I am (which may be unreasonable, but it is fiction - people should be better and more ideal than real humans). Luckily the flaws were minute and not recurring, and the characters were mostly lovable and cleared up all misunderstandings and gave all necessary apologies in the end.

Hillarious

I saw this drama getting a lot of attention from my fyp and then decided to watch. From EP 1 - 5 i kinda feel bored and pissed off with the ML because he fell in love just bcz of appearance (my own thoughts) and the filter thing make the FL didn't appear much, but her other character instead so i dropped off. But then i force myself to continue and it keeps getting better after ep 5. I understand Tang Qi and deeply in love with his character. The comedy was top notch i could die laughing because of this series 😭😭 the ending is simple yet beautiful for everyone haha. Love it. Please watch

Filter: Slow Start, Strong Finish!

Started slow and cliché—your typical "pretty vs. plain Jane" setup. The first few episodes were a bit of a snooze, and some of the later ones dragged unnecessarily. But once it found its rhythm, it was pretty enjoyable! Mildly funny, with a great dynamic between the main leads.
Best part? No unnecessary breakups, no forced drama—just solid understanding and mutual acceptance. They were truly on the same wavelength, which made their relationship feel refreshing and wholesome.
**Spoiler Alert: The finale gave us exactly what we wanted—a happy ending with zero heartbreak. No last-minute misunderstandings, no tragic twists. Just love, laughter, and a satisfying conclusion.

Would I rewatch? Maybe not. But was it a fun ride? Absolutely!
