SMART PEAK COMEDY
I'm not really into comedy, but this one is an exception. I never laugh so hard watching a drama.I really enjoyed it from start to the end without skipping any scene. One of the best drama of 2025! It has everything I need to be in a drama. Good storyline, good acting, good cinematography, good music. Tan Jianci's expression is over the top and Li Landi is super adorable and impressive. It will be my healing drama for sure. ❤️

I fall In love with Li Landi
The story can be considered unique but at the same time is not either. At least for me, I struggle watching the first 10 eps and almost giving it up and throw it under the bus. But as I continue, I find myself get charmed by Li Landi. She so beautiful that I can't take away my eyes for a moment. Her acting as the character bring myself immersed on the show. Her chemistry with Tan Jianci made me giggle and smile upon their love-development's phase. Despite simple love storyish, I enjoy it from the bottom of heart, such light and comedic show deserve to be praised.Was this review helpful to you?
One of the best dramas in my opinion.
Filter (from my pov) wasabout how you as a person are so much more than you looks. And comparison really is the thief of joy cuz you are you. And more. Made me laugh a lot it was a comedy, but then has very serious messages and sometimes even made me cry. 9.5/10 only because sometimes it was a bit slow. But a great show. If I remember it it's probably a 10/10. But the messages are very relevant at this day and age with social media and technology etc as well.
At first I didn't like the ML much, but dw keep watching if you feel the same way.
I'll give casting/acting 10/10 only because they did such a great job. Clearly the actress is stunning so perhaps the character may not seem like it suits her, but I've seen her before in Don't disturb my study and she really didn't disappoint. Her acting skills are superb. By the end I was convinced this was a great cast for the show. Even if at the beginning I was like... they didn't even try to make her look bad 😹

It’s the type of drama where the male lead gets the wrong impression of the female lead. She’s the strong, sporty FL, and he’s the introverted, low-EQ ML. She has been crushing on him since high school, but he thought she was the campus bully. She grew up insecure about her looks and believed he avoided her because of that. But it was all just a misunderstanding. They met again as adults, and a filter actually helped them reconnect. That’s when he realized he had been loving her all along, even without recognizing who she really was.This drama also have a wonderful, just perfect OST! Check out the Up and Down.

Hillarious
I saw this drama getting a lot of attention from my fyp and then decided to watch. From EP 1 - 5 i kinda feel bored and pissed off with the ML because he fell in love just bcz of appearance (my own thoughts) and the filter thing make the FL didn't appear much, but her other character instead so i dropped off. But then i force myself to continue and it keeps getting better after ep 5. I understand Tang Qi and deeply in love with his character. The comedy was top notch i could die laughing because of this series 😭😭 the ending is simple yet beautiful for everyone haha. Love it. Please watchWas this review helpful to you?
Cute rom com
My 5th modern cdrama and a rom com at that.Great storyline, unique ideas.... Some situations were ridiculously funny! Specially the alpaca :)
I loved how they tied up the story with the make up industry. It was interesting to get a glimpse on how this industry works.
The vibe was also colorful and bright, exuding a happy, feel good mood. Great to watch after a tiring day.
If you are looking for something light and delightfully funny, I highly recommend giving FILTER a try.

Such an interesting concept done right!
Comedy and romance were on point! I was worried that this drama might let me down since I was recovering from a drama slump, but thankfully, this drama was actually a very fun watch! OSTs were kind of flat, though. Loved loved loved Tan Jianci and Li Landi, and I giggled and laughed so much my stomach ached. Filter: Slow Start, Strong Finish!
Started slow and cliché—your typical "pretty vs. plain Jane" setup. The first few episodes were a bit of a snooze, and some of the later ones dragged unnecessarily. But once it found its rhythm, it was pretty enjoyable! Mildly funny, with a great dynamic between the main leads.Best part? No unnecessary breakups, no forced drama—just solid understanding and mutual acceptance. They were truly on the same wavelength, which made their relationship feel refreshing and wholesome.
**Spoiler Alert: The finale gave us exactly what we wanted—a happy ending with zero heartbreak. No last-minute misunderstandings, no tragic twists. Just love, laughter, and a satisfying conclusion.
Would I rewatch? Maybe not. But was it a fun ride? Absolutely!

Super creative and modern
The cast delivers a solid performance as well that really pulls you in.The chemistry between Tan Jianci and Li Landi is perfect and the banters between them, and mutual scheming is chef's kiss. Jianci is such an amazing actor who honestly just makes every character his own, and it's not exception in this drama, where he plays Tang Qi, a cosmetics phD who is as adorable as he is strategic, but struggles with an sensory overload eye condition.
Lost You Forever fans are in for a real treat as there are multiple LYF easter eggs scattered throughout the drama. The author of LYF is also the screenwriter of Filter. What a treat!
I'm loving all the characters including the side characters (Gu Yu, Lian Yu, Su Qingli). All of them are loyal to their friends and they aren't dumb at all and actually successfully help their friends face problems realistically.
For me it’s definitely an urban fantasy with comedic moments and a deeper exploration of the filters that we all have about ourselves and others.
This drama gets you laughing until your stomach hurts, cringe due to it's ridiculous antics, think twice about it's commentary about beauty and self love and fall deeply in love with Tang Qi and Su Cheng Cheng. This drama is amazing and well worth the watch.

Everyone is beautiful in their own way
So many messages in this series. The FL had a lot of insecurities about her appearance and the persons around her just didnt realize how it affected her. Despite all the negative comment she got about her looks, she was still strong and tried to push through so it didnt Bother her that much. Facing these type of comments daily can definitely take a toll on you mentally. She getting the bracelet had both positive and negative impact. The positive side is that she was able to help others and the negative was the ML. He was going through it mentally. Mind you, his behaviour around her stemmed from them being in school and it was just a bunch of misunderstandings on both sides.There are a lot of comedy scenes that will make you laugh out.
Fast forward to clearing up everything, they got their happy ending of course.
For the 2nd leads, I loved their interaction and chemistry more.
I think think OST was really nice.
Overall, it was a good drama but not something I would rewatch.

I really enjoyed this drama. The acting was real and authentic. The plot was funny and ridiculous, but delivered so well. I saw a different side to TJC and it was refreshing having just watched Lost You Forever.In fact I liked that this drama referred to other dramas he has been in, I found that really clever!
A great watch, and even re-watch.Some real laugh out loud moments.
The supporting cast were great and I really enjoyed their plotlines.

This drama is for those interested in a romantic comedy with plenty of heart. The drama leans more comical than romantic for most of the episodes (with some very funny scenes) but then morphs into more of a romance towards the end. Some viewers may be disappointed that the drama does not sustain the comedy all the way. I think, however, that the writer wanted to lean thoughtful towards the end to emphasize some serious messages. Chief of those was the point that appearances and accomplishments should not matter as much as they do when it comes to love and romance. The drama does a good job of making that point. The biggest problem is that we’re all supposed to believe that the female lead is unattractive but she is played by Sandy Li and, well, if she’s supposed to be homely, then the rest of us are in trouble. Sandy Li did a great job with a sometimes unsympathetic character. The best part of the drama, however, was Tan Jian Ci, who played the nerdy male lead, and was amazing. He has perfect comedic timing with an expressive face and body but he’s also able to convey sadness and pathos without spilling over into sentimentality.Watch this drama if you need to escape all of the bad news in the world right now.
