First of all they have the same crew such as director, cinematographer etc... and therefore the colour grading, and the cinematography is similar. Second of all both the series are exciting in the same way I have not seen in any other BLS. I think Kinnporsche is the closest recommendation you can give to someone who've loved My Stand in...

- Both shows have toxic partners
- in MSI joe soul is in another body whilst in LIS, the fl has plastic surgery so she is unrecognizable
- the toxic partners try to find their lovers. In MSI, they get together in LIS they do not as she loves her doctor

Both has LGBTQ characters and body swapping plots .
Difference is that in kamisama the body swapped character comes back as a female.

- MC gets into an accident and gets transmigrated into the body of another person
- MC was betrayed by 'their lover' before accident but is forced to meet them again after transmigration
- Different is that in My Stand-In is not a revenge story but Game Rak Patihan will be about MC making a revenge

Both are the kind of BL dramas that revolve around toxic relationships, where a genuine green flag falls hard for a destructive red flag. These deeply toxic romances lean heavily into obsession and emotional dependency, featuring morally flawed leads. Wellll how do I put this.. If you like the red flag in a ML then watch this one..
Both have a red flag ML who uses the other. In BGMB, he hurts him on purpose due to "jealousy" I guess... we don't know a whole lot about him yet (this is ongoing as I'm writing this..) and in "My Stand In" the ML uses him to satisfy his own needs.

Either way.. if you like that red flag romance where your heart hurts for the other, and later get to watch them make up for their mistakes..... I'd recommend watching the other.
