Five Stars

Finally Shouhua and Du had a proper conversation, even though he acted drunk for it, and she didn't fell for it, cause she's so smart. And Chai is so afraid of angering Kangning, he doesn't want his dear wife to be angry with him. Some new trouble is on the way.

Good start, meh characters.

This drama would be more enjoyable for those empty heads that enjoy gossip. The girls are meant to be playful, smart girls who stick together, but all thus far all they do is instigate one another to turn on each other's husbands in private. One second they're encouraging and helping the sisters get together with their man, and another second they resort to demeaning him. Rather than acknowledging the mistakes of their own relationships, they love blaming their husbands. No matter what the guys do (except the loser of 2nd sis), the sisters always have something to blame them for. If the guys help, then the girls assume the men are looking down on the women; and if they don't then they accuse them of being disloyal and careless for their wives. What exactly is anyone to do to maintain their happiness?? The girls keep secrets and jump to misunderstandings, but if the guys keep a secret, then it's all about lack of trust??? The mother bites off more than she can chew and cries over her mistakes that she doesn't bother learning from at all. She causes more harm to the family then she ever realizes, and it doesn't help that her daughters are willing to look past every wrong she does only on the preface that she raised them as a single mother through tough times. I understand that, but not educating her on her ills only continues to cause rifts b/w the couples and family. Further, ML was completely right about her lack of manners towards servants and even the adopted cousin! She speaks about the cousin in such an ill manner right in front of her as if the girl's a burden and should be bowing down in gratitude for being raised by the aunt. The sisters never say anything about this either, they just smile and glaze over the whole subject. Then it takes a HUGE incident just for them to see the girl as a human, let alone a family. Very infuriating to watch. Only continuing (skipping through) to see the outcomes of the younger sisters.
Just watched ep 15, and my goodness the elder husband is using such a stupid means to "let her down slowly." My most hateful cliche is always "I'll turn evil so my lover's not heartbroken." Like bruh, you acting like that is exactly what's gonna break the heart. smh.
