Both dramas involve an FL who was the “ugly duckling” in school and was bullied. FL in Beauty Reborn becomes a cosmetics scientist and gets hired at a struggling cosmetics company. FL in Twin Gambit becomes a fashion designer and gets hired as the creative director at a struggling fashion brand. They use their talent to create new products to revive the companies. In both dramas, they realize they know the ML from childhood. The FLs are funny and have endearing personalities. The ML is their CEO in both dramas.
