I'm on ep 38 but saw the spoilers😢. I did not expect it to go that way. It looks like the writer hates all the actors, but BZ's story is just😤... I hope when I see the final eps it's not as bad as it seems. However, Duo Ge's acting was good, + so heart breaking, & the final fight looked🔥🔥!

He deserves it so much! Even with this idiotic and toxic ending his looks and acting never dissapoints! 

He is long overdue.  He stands out, no matter the role or size, but I want to see a drama or film where the focus and story is him, where he gets to really flex his acting.

Hmmm.  I haven't watched the whole thing yet, but that doesn't sound good.  I'm fine with a tragic CP, but not with character assassination.  Another problem, when you are playing the support character. :(

@Kokuto  I've finished the drama just now. There's not enuf space to describe how I feel. & that's not even about Duo Ge. As for Ge, yes his scenes are brief but Duozi acted his heart out even with the strange plot. He was so heartbreaking & he looked unreal❣ Like he came out of a Donghua. His natural vampire/demon vibes were maxxed out🖤.  Char assassination - it's kinda unintentional, but yes. As the staging of the chars makes it v.clear & black & white who are the 'worthy' 'nice' ppl. BUT it's nothing, as unless you're an anti, most can see he was just playing what's been asked. & there were still the earlier scenes to balance it out luckily. He filmed in the black make-up for over a month but it only appears for 1 half ep, so alot has been cut.

As for 'Malicious Consort'. I hope we're both wrong & it's not that🤐...tbh the timing kinda aligns when he finishes the other drama & unfortunately MengYang have been know to add talents to DD's dramas, hence his fans feeling an entitlement & bullying other actors, especially the ones from MY. Praying🙏🏻no🙏🏻.

Thank you Neptune!  Love that douyin.  These pics are gorgeous!  But also so full of emotion.  He's one of those actors that disappears into the character but goes full throttle.  Love it!

Yeah, that's what I love. He has a duality that mirrors in his roles. He's chill & calm but also intense too. I love the pics on the green background, they give off gothic film noir vibes. Really would love him to play a devil/vampire, it's just too fitting🖤👻❣

YES!  He totally should do a Western horror or fantasy show or film, cause I don't think the censors in China would allow it.  Though they seem a bit more lenient with film.

But he could do a great grey character if they would do more of them as lead characters, instead of the 'perfect' characters.
