Impatiently waiting for the next ep! I'm hooked!
Ghad, I'm dying to know what's nextttt! It was my first time watching an ongoing C-drama, and I can't wait for the rest!
I didn't even feel that I had just finished the first 8 eps 🥹 I wanted more!
I've seen the FL in the series called Under the Power, and that's one of the best series that I was also hooked on until the end. When I searched the actress, I was curious why she rarely had a lead role because I really like her. The acting, her projection, and how she handles the character with her personality—love it! So I'm really excited to see her as the main lead, and I'm not disappointed! She exceeds what I imagined, and thinking about it, she was almost the reason why I finished UTP without even realizing that I had finished it—and liked it!
On the other hand, I've seen the ML in the series called Back from the Brink. What made him remarkable to me was what I call his micro-emotions and how he could portray or express a lot of things through his acting. Honestly, I tried two times to finish that series (BFTB), but I don't know why I always discontinued it halfway. The ML wasn't the problem, I think the chemistry between the leads just wasn't for me.
BUT IN THIS SERIES, it feels like the leads are meant to work! Or maybe they are just both my bias, hehe. But yeah, I was really into the FL's personality and the ML's expressions that I think they work greatly together. So I'm looking forward to the two of them and waiting for the next eps.
I don't think there will be a major second lead syndrome here. I like the supporting lead and the way he was focused on the plot rather than anything else. I'm interested in his sword and his future endeavors because of his principles. And I'm curious whether he'll be corrupted or make his resolution stronger/better.
The story plot also makes me want more! This is the first xianxia that I've watched that really focuses on the magical world, and I always love the scenes in the Demon Realm. It also tackles lots of hypocrisy and borderline problems about the stereotypes of humans vs demons, and I like how they deliver that without giving too much angst. Like, you can enjoy the series, yet you could still appreciate the plot and dilemmas they bring to the table. And that only makes me want more of it!
Ghad, I don't regret that I watched it, but I'm impatient waiting for the next eps.
I'll edit this and hope for a nice ending!

Marvellous masterpiece: 3 lifetimes 3 magnificent stories of main leads
Its one of my most anticipated fantasy and romance drama, I couldn’t be more happier when it was released. Ever since it has been released, I have been deeply engrossed and always excitedly waiting for next highly spell- bindind, gripping and mesmerising episodes.💫The story of the drama is extremely refreshing and highly unpredictable yet it successfully enthrals, fascinates, engages, entrances and enchants the audiences with its extraordinary and unique top-class and out of this world plot💥💯. One of the noticable features of this storyline is time cycle encounters, it's not simple straight timeline and the main characters are influenced by irregular timelines, their identities and circumstances change in each life time and at certain points the main leads loose their original memories. However, these encounters allow them to meet and confront each other.
💫Hong ye is highly complex and intricate character portrayed brilliantly, magnificently and impeccable by phenomenal actor HMH. Although, Hong ye at present is very morally good, just, kind, smart and responsible demon lord, he doesn't have the commanding aura of a formidable demon king, showing self-blame, repentance, and a deep internal struggle as he has yet to rediscover his true self. Fortunately over three lifetimes, particularly after meeting Xiao Yao, he gradually reconnects with the bold, trusting, fearless, extremely formidable and unrestrained version of himself that existed centuries ago. I absolutely adore Hong Ye, I love his extremely sweet, protective, romantic, mischievous (influenced by Xiao yao), strategic, playful, kind, bold, reflective and righteous sides. He is extremely precious demon who has stolen my heart ✨️❤️🔥.
💫Xiao Yao is also very complicate and sophisticate character, portrayed flawlessly and effortlessly by versatile actress TSY. Xiao yao(half demon and half human) in her original third lifetime is very special person, who has very pure and incorruptable heart despite being of very explorative, mischievous, jolly, and tricky nature. She always stays true to her heart and sticks to her moral principles. Always be kind, friendly, playful, just and protective of all beings around her whether they are humans or demons. Although she likes money, she always uses it for proper needs and is never blinded by greed or desire of extreme power or immortality. Xioa Yao with her untarnished beautiful heart molds and influences the opinions and principles of many demons, spirits and humans during her exciting journey together with Hong Ye in 3 lifetimes. I absolutely love her cute, adorable, bubbly, flirty, calculative, tactical, prudent, combative, witty, romantic, wise and thoughtful sides. She is very lovable and unforgettable character, she has won my heart 🥰🔥.
💫Hong Ye and Xiao Yao through the 3 lifetimes encounters always triggers long standing conflicts between humans and demons. We are shown through many stories, how desires, trust and moral choices effects the fates of both races. However, Xiao Yao's pure heart becomes a crucial power that drives the story toward reconciliation and redemption. Thus, making this drama different from conventional romance yet the 3 life time romance we experience between Hong Ye and Xiao Yao is extremely remarkable and heart-warming. Their chemistry feels incrediblly natural and romantic. Hong Ye is always extremely accommodating, malleable, attentive, soft, tender and protective to Xiao yao. Same goes for Xiao yao she is extremely observant of Hong yes's hidden feelings and worries, does anything to protect and help him and is always concerned for him. Their romance is extremely sweet, intimate, synchronized and natural, sending viewers hearts into total frenzy✨️💖.
💫Not forgetting to mention, whenever, they have misunderstanding or disagreement they very quickly, effectively and proactively resolve it in best way possible, which very beautifully brings them even closer. Every trial or event bonds them together more firmly then eve. They trust, rely, and protect each other no matter what. Through out the 3 life times ardous journey, these two have created really powerful feelings and overwhelming emotions, which have greatly moved me. Both of them are striving towards establishing peace for humans and demons by employing their responsible, righteous, courageous and selfless hearts to attain this dream/goal.
I have completely melted 💘🫠 for this breath-taking, very compatible and beautiful unforgettable couple. They are totally made for each other.
💫All the others actors have also enchanted me with their brilliant, dynamic, dedicated, committed, creative and powerful acting. They have displayed their deep emotions, passion, feelings flawlessly and their stories unfolded magnificently and seamlessly well with good pacing. Their dynamic and smooth chemistry with each other and the main characters brought this masterpiece to life. The short stories were very touching and engaging endorcing the hearts with meaningful messages about making the right choice under various circumstances while always rememberering that demons and humans have good and bad people amongst them.
BZ's character development started out well, with him and his sister standing up for thier principles while learning to distinguish between good and bad demons. But sadly he seems to have lost his way along the way for quite some time due to PP's predicamen. Thanfully, he got his sister back and redeemed himself. Now, for the other characters: my personal favorite are XM the cat demon, LL the pig demon, the little herbs and Bamboo demon. They are very adorable and funny, there is never a dull moment with them around. The 3 great demons were at times adorable and funny. However, since they made HY and humans suffer a lot, they got chance to change their ways and later they paid for their mistakes with their lives.
💫The CGI, FX and cenimatrography of this drama is incredibly beautiful and stunning💞🔥!The attention to detail, photorealism, seamless integrations, lighting and texturing makes geographical lands in the story enchanting and magical. The CGI in this drama not only gave us compelling visual experience in the action scenes but it effectively communicated the stories and emotions of the characters too. It successfully engages the viewers and leaving an everlasting impression. The gorgeous costumes, stunning hairstyles and mesmerising make up for the casts is breathtaking making the drama very enticing and inviting visual feast. But it's not just the visuals that stand out, all the OSTs especially the opening OST 'desire and calamity' and 'afraid it's only a dream' are extremely beautiful. They have emotional resonance, clear production, and originality. All OSTs give emotional and atmosphereic depth to the scenes and and events.
💫I absolutely fell in love with this most magical, sweetest, beautiful, adorable and naturally romantic couple. With their superb acting, they have manifested one of the top-class heart warming, touching, emotional, magical, romantic and unforgettable Xuanhuan ever for me. Looking forward to next episodes very eagerly. Only downside is that the episodes are coming to an end and I absolutely don't want it to finish because I just can't get enough of this enchanting unique magical story.
ENDING:
It seems that the main leads have achieved their major goal of bringing lasting peace to both races. Everyone who has made bad moral choices either got retribution and paid for their sins some way or repented and redeemed themselves. Eventually, the vicious cycle of voilence and revenge between demons and humans was broken. Ofcourse, 10,000 years of chaos and feud came to an end with price of selfless acts of bravery.
Even though the end was ambiguous, I find it totally worth the watch beacause there is really nothing HY and XY didn’t do together as a couple in 3 lifetimes.
✨️With XY (having special body) mastering the art of time travelling, I guess she can relive the numerous happiest times with HY in 3 lifetimes or possibly find another way to seal the kunlun mirror! Possiblities are endless when she can travel any point in to past and can change anything and this time she knows everything!✨️💞
☆⸜(。˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝☆
✨️Any point she jumps to is a new beginning!!
"Everything has started anew"
"Everything is just a beginning"
✨️Thus, this timeline is not a never-changing cycle, nowhere it says that everything repeated the way it was.
Overall, I thorougly enjoyed every second of this masterpiece 😍 ✨️ 👌 I highly recommend it to people who love fantasy and romance.

The Kind of Drama You Wish You Could Watch Again for the First Time
Neo Hou’s performance stands out, especially in his non-human role, where he perfectly captures emotional restraint, loyalty, and quiet suffering. The relationships in the drama particularly the complex romantic dynamics are layered and engaging, adding warmth, pain, and subtle humor to the overall narrative. The female lead as Xiao Yao is another major highlight. Her character is adorable, lively, and emotionally grounded, bringing balance to the darker themes of the drama. The actress’s casting feels perfect, and her natural, expressive acting makes Xiao Yao instantly lovable and believable. Together, the strong performances, thoughtful storytelling, and refined visual atmosphere make The Unclouded Soul a drama that lingers long after it ends.
What makes the drama even more exciting is how the plot keeps getting better as the story progresses. The pacing never feels flat; instead, the conflicts grow more intense and emotionally layered. And the love quadrangle surrounding Xiao Yao? Absolutely one of the most entertaining and heart-tugging parts of the show. It’s messy, painful, funny, and charming all at once. Watching these characters love her in completely different ways is both adorable and heartbreaking.
Honestly, this drama is so good that if I ever lost my memory, I’d want to watch it all over again from the beginning. It’s unforgettable, emotionally rich, and incredibly rewatchable.

Must Watch
I might be bias because Tan Song Yun is my favorite, but upon watching it, I find this series unique! her acting is not questionable, even she is older than her Male Lead, they have amazing chemistry. Well, Neo Hao is such a gorgeous guy! And their acting is undeniably effective!I have read that the plot has similarities to other xianxia series, but I do not care. I have watch this first so it's unique for me.
But why Dali has to die 😭😭😭
The exciting part is on the next episode. Now will they face and surpassed the trials of the past.
I'm on episode 23 as of this writing! 🤗

Congrats to the TUS team 👏 for bringing these actors to the small screen. They truly deserve respect for giving us such a wonderful show🎬❤️
For those expecting intense, passionate romance, this might not be for you — but it’s definitely for me🥰. I love the subtle, light romance, where each character grows into understanding what pure love really is🌸💛
And who said TSY and HMH don’t have chemistry?!😳 You crazy??? Of all the BTS I’ve seen of HMH, his smiles and laughters here are so different😆💖 — there’s a hint of shyness 🙈 and a dash of giddiness. It’s like seeing him for who he really is, as a person. I just can’t explain it😭😄
I would highly recommend this to everyone — yes, you, you, you… go watch it!🎉🎬✨

3 Lifetimes of Everlasting Love
"Everything has started anew""Everything is just a beginning"
Even after 3 Lifetimes of being together I still can't have enough of Xiao Yao and Hong Ye
Throughout these 10000 years they laughed and cried, experiencing both friendships and hardships along the way. Every emotion could truly be felt through the screen!
What a touching story of love that is unshakeable by anything!
This is definitely a must watch. The actors have truly become one with the characters allowing the audience to feel as if they are part of the story. The execution is brilliant and the story behind each and every character is absolutely exceptional.
The strong love between the two truly reflects how any conflicts and desires can be resolved by understanding and empathy for all living beings.
Hong Ye and Xiao Yao will remain together in my heart forever and ever ❤️❤️❤️

Storyline
I never write reviews about dramas but this one annoyed me because they wasted a very good plot and characters. They really could've expanded the story and moved in a different direction. They had 3 perfectly great characters they introduced in ep 30+ and they just killed them off after you end up vouching for all of them individually. Seriously? I think they could've skipped the more of the immortal spirit part as well. You could start at around ep 20? where she goes back into her 2nd life and still enjoy it. The 1st life was more interesting to be fair.
And the ending to have the ML sacrifice himself and the FL goes back to a moment she enjoys with him but he still stays stuck in that way, seems like lazy writing. Could she not have invented something else to go back and change reality. And who is that other female god that promised humans the Yuli spring just to tempt their desires and say they cant be changed? So at the end the takeaway is you still have to repent for your crimes no matter how you have redeemed yourself and you'll be stuck in a loop forever. I mean if that was the end message thats fine but to make it a good thing for the FL to stay in an illusion forever? They can do better then this.
This whole series could've been edited better to 25-30 episodes. I can see how some said messy writing. Omg.
Pros:
You buy into FL &ML chemistry in about ep 20.
The casting was good.
The production development was good.

Not bad ..Not spellbinding..
The initial 6-7 episodes, I was this🤏close to ghosting this drama. Why? Because it opened with the most overused xianxia starter pack ever. ML lying unconscious in his core for a century in the middle of nowhere, only to be awakened by the FL. This savior is conveniently a lookalike of his ex lover who betrayed him and killed him. Add the usual human vs demon feud with elf, fairy and immortals making wildcard entries, opportunists of both sides taking advantage of the situation to exploit the innocent ones. The storyline feels like a neatly stitched quilt made from leftover pieces of popular xianxia dramas, Literally everything felt like hitting a Deja vu.
Anyways Episode 9 onwards the plot starts taking shape.. it's not like you will escape the cliches but they will be less obvious at this point.
Now, let’s talk cast. HMH is my favorite, no debate. His acting, his voice, his screen presence, chef’s kiss. But compared to the emotional hurricane he was in Love in the Clouds, here he feels… restrained. Subtle is fine, but some expressions feel oddly flat. Especially those past-life romance scenes with Niag’an. I’ve seen this man look at a co-star like the world stops spinning, but here the gaze felt vacant, almost awkward. His character in the drama is also TOO direct, there is nothing much to do apart from reciting the dialogues with a straight face and shedding a tear or two every now and then... I’m still hopeful he’ll level up in later episodes, and I’ll happily eat my words if he does.
This is my first Tang Song Yun drama. I get the hype now. She’s good, very convincing, especially her youthful and childlike voice. Since this is my only exposure to her work, I won’t overanalyze. She’s doing her job well, and I’m content. Her character is charming , naughty , smart and willful just the right blend and she is doing a good justice to it.
The chemistry between the two is okay-ish, Not skipping-a-beat-type dynamic.
Ironically, the supporting cast and guest appearances stole more of my attention...Wang Duo, Chen Xing Hai, Wang Xi Wei and especially Zhou Li Ying, her character has not even been introduced properly and she is already overshadowing the FL.
Technically, the drama delivers. Fight scenes look more like casting-spells magical rather than mechanical. The CGI sets are gorgeous, especially the demon realm. Pink glowing grass, silvery skies, glittery blue waters, tiny living herbs with baby houses. Cute overload 🥰❤️ Styling and wardrobe though? Meh. Very safe, very recycled. I’ve seen this look before in LBFAD and Sword and Fairy. Nothing fresh.
And the BGM was good which is again similar to a very popular xianxia, IYKYK (hint : Xu kai is the lead)
So yeah, for now, I’m holding on for the cast and praying the plot finds its spine.
PS: I will edit this review if things improve.

Briefing the core.
Tbh, if you want to enjoy this drama, just enjoy the characters, they have amazing onscreen presence, almost each one of them. Acting in convincing. But story is below average. I would rather say, uptil 25 episodes, there's nothing in the story, it feels like scattered pieces joined together, more like a part of another main story. But but but, beyond ep 25, the story unleashes it's power potential. It takes a turn and stands out as something new and different. Worth a try.
Characters make it enjoyable undoubtedly. They have done commendable job.
