After Da Li and Luo Luo are captured at the magistrate's house, Xiao Yao agrees to serve as bait to lure out the demon murderer for Bing Zhu. They end up in the Misty Forest with Hong Ye, and illusions of their desires and fears torment them. Bing Zhu escapes with his men, while Hong Ye and Xiao find Yun Yi safe, but accompanied by a strange masked man with an iron hand. An argument and an attack send Hong Ye back to Demon Valley, while Xiao Yao and Bing Zhu return to Pingjiang, just in time to save Da Li and Luo Luo from being executed by the Qiong Hua Sect.

since the mist shows their hidden desires does this mean FL already like the ML? although she has a hard love life ahead as ML still like her previous life self? (assuming Ning'an is her past life)

Love this episode..it was hilarious. Both ML and FL acting was great. Slowly building up their chemistry..so sweet
