Gotta love a toxic relationship
The chemistry between King and Uea is great since the actors were together at the time. The spice was pretty good as well. I think a lot of people will one spicy scene in particular because you don't see it on screen like that too much.I feel like a lot of Uea's trauma gets overlooked. I feel like they take it very lightly and move past it super quickly or just don't care, so that's not great. The relationship is toxic, like most shows to be honest. So if a toxic relationship isn't your cup of tea, then you might not like this one.

Just go for it.... It's a lovely and wonderful story...And you will surely love it..
Uea and King are so sweet...King is probably the mature one because he understands Uea's problems very well and he comforts Uea as much as he can... Since they are in Friends with Benifits relationship, throughout the story we can see Uea and King love each other from the bottom of their hearts...
There are no major misunderstandings between the couple and they are sorting out all the things very quickly.. Just loved the series..

For a series created in 2023 I would think the BL film industry and audience would have a higher standard. This story was very shallow even though the subject matter was about some serious subjects: abuse in all forms. I watched all eps waiting for a deeper story to emerge, instead the quick examples of abuse seemed to just be 'rage bait'. Mom does a good job of spitting out all that vitriol. The actors werent given much to work with so I cant blame them for the poor acting. EXCEPT James. This person should NOT have had a main role. Him looking stiff and blank does not create a feeling of poignancy.Also, the pacing in most scenes was poor, I thought I had the playback speed set incorrectly on youtube. Nope, it was the directors fault. I can forgive a few continuity mistakes but whats the point of dragging each scene out?
I started a 2018 Taiwanese series** that was SOOOOOO much better, so why did so many people think this Bed Friend was good? The music was orchestra- loud, intrusive, and irritating. If this show was for the younger audience, shouldnt the music have reflected that? I would recommend avoid this show.

Confronting but beautiful
This is an amazing story of working through complex trauma. It has scenes that can be very triggering, so it's important to make a careful decision about whether to watch it.Seriously, I loved this drama. It's a beautiful presentation of a healthy but complicated and unconventional relationship that requires work to get right. Uea has been severely and repeatedly traumatized, and he can be very reactive and impulsive and is a bit of a mess, which gets him in a lot of trouble and makes him an easy target for predators (which is scary realistic!). King has good intentions, but he's human and has his own needs, and he's inexperienced with trauma and sometimes makes bad calls. But together they grow as people, support each other, and their relationship is beautiful. By the end, they've both grown stronger, broken from old patterns, and freed themselves from toxic people. It's wonderful.
And I particularly appreciate that the characters are equals in their relationship. Both have agency (with each other) from the start. It would be so easy for the whole story to be about King serving/saving Uea, but it's not like that. King has his own wants and needs, and even though he is obviously head-over-heels in love, it's clear he wants to be a partner and support for Uea, not a 2D servant/knight. Sure, it takes them a while to figure everything out, but they can BOTH be themselves with each other. There's sometimes drama, but they support each other and can be a safe space for each other, and that applies to both characters equally. I love these characters, and I'm so glad they get a happy ending.

Não tem novidade, mas tem NetJames e isso basta...
Bed Friend é aquele BL que não tenta reinventar a roda, e ainda bem. Ele sabe exatamente o que quer entregar: química, tensão sexual e um pouco de drama no pacote. E olha, o que ele promete, ele cumpre direitinho.A química entre Net e James é simplesmente absurda. Desde o primeiro episódio, dá pra sentir a tensão entre os dois, daquele tipo que te faz prender a respiração esperando o próximo olhar, o próximo toque, o momento em que tudo vai explodir. E quando acontece, acontece com gosto. As cenas mais quentes são muito bem feitas, nada de vergonha alheia ou fanservice mecânico, tem cuidado, tem entrega, tem intenção. Você acredita no que tá vendo. Não parece encenação. Parece emoção.
Mas o que realmente me prendeu foi o Uea. Ele é um personagem com peso. Tem trauma, tem barreira, tem dor escondida debaixo de uma fachada de indiferença. E ver ele aos poucos se permitindo sentir, confiar, se abrir… foi o que deu profundidade à série. Ele carrega metade do drama nas costas, e faz isso com consistência. Dá vontade de abraçar e proteger, e às vezes, de mandar ele parar de fugir da própria felicidade.
A produção também ajuda muito. Fotografia bonita sem exagero, trilha sonora que acompanha bem o clima e uma direção que entende como filmar intimidade sem cair no vulgar ou no constrangido. Dá pra ver que alguém ali atrás das câmeras sabia o que tava fazendo.
Agora, claro que não é perfeito. O roteiro segue aquele caminho já bem batido: amizade colorida, ciúmes, afastamento, reconciliação. Você meio que já sabe como tudo vai se desenrolar. Tem umas situações que cansam, tipo o vilão aleatório, o ciúmes fora de hora, os mal-entendidos meio forçados só pra dar aquela esticada no drama. Dá vontade de passar pra frente e ir direto pras partes boas, porque tem umas enrolações que a gente já viu mil vezes em outros BLs.
E os personagens secundários? Meio esquecíveis. O Jade até que funciona, mas o resto parece só estar ali pra preencher espaço. Dava pra aproveitar melhor os colegas de trabalho, dar mais vida ao mundo em volta do casal, mas não rolou. A série é 90% focada no Uea e no King, o que, nesse caso, até dá pra perdoar, já que os dois seguram tudo com carisma e intensidade.
No fim das contas, Bed Friend é um BL que acerta no básico e brilha nos momentos certos. Não é profundo, não é revolucionário, mas é envolvente, gostoso de assistir e com um casal que realmente faz valer o tempo investido. Se você curte um bom drama com tensão sexual bem construída, esse aqui é pra você.

An ideal and equal love to be normalized
Emphasizing on a social issue of sexual harassment against the mute and powerless, this series has proven to be a samaritan. Storyline very subtly conveys the injustice towards certain genders. Plot is simple and drives you through a satiating ending.I personally loved the locations, drone shots and frames of emotional scenes, coloring, consistent tone of the story, styling and art direction, elements of the advertising workspace. An episode stole my heart resembling a painting. Background score by P' Tommy is melodious. Net-James chemistry was good. James is an alluring man without doubt. P' Passin is a terrific actor with a skill to perfectly camouflage into character.
As the title suggests, the episodes contain a lot of clever sensuality. Every romantic scene has a distinct flavor. In concord with every body else, the trailer got me excited.
Despite all the above lines pointing at the reason I watched this series, it does not qualify for a re watch. Also the one objectionable quality of the scenes is the time lapse to react and respond. Editing team should have worked better.

MAGNÍFICO E SURPREENDENTE
Assisti essa série com a versão original primeiro e depois conheci essa perfeição que é a versão sem cortes.Como eu disse na resenha anterior desse mesmo drama a história é perfeita e tem a dose certa de humor e profundidade, existem muitos momentos leves e gostosos de se acompanhar e também tem seu lado sensível por conta de todos os traumas do Uea.
A amizade com benefícios funciona muito bem e tem cenas eróticas excelentes nos primeiros episódios (e no último episódio também), tudo cria um clima perfeito pra cena, a música, as cores, o jeito que é filmado. É muito bom, sério.
As atuações são excelentes, as cenas são bem dirigidas, os diálogos são maravilhosos independente de ser uma cena fofa, engraçada ou triste.
A trama é fluida e você nunca quer que acabe, quando acaba você fica triste e quer mais. Espero ver mais romances nessa pegada pois ele tem um toque muito diferente que me fez amar desde o primeiro episódio.
Se fosse pra fazer algum tipo de ressalva eu só diria que o King poderia ser um personagem mais trabalhado e que no final a relação deles deu uma regredida a pedido do Uea (senti um pouquinho de sadismo da parte dele querendo que o King se humilhasse por ele sem poder encostar), foi um pouco contraditório levando em conta o ponto do relacionamento deles, mas não apaga o brilho de todas as outras coisas presentes na trama.
