A Promising Concept Ruined by Weak Execution
Episode 1 of Cycle of Terror had the setup for a gripping thriller, but everything about the execution fell flat. The acting across the board was stiff and unconvincing, making it hard to feel any tension or connect with the characters. The dialogue felt awkward, and the cast’s reactions to eerie moments lacked impact.Visually, the drama was just as frustrating. The cinematography and lighting choices were more irritating than immersive, with poorly framed shots and distracting effects that took away from the suspense. Instead of enhancing the story, the visuals made it even harder to stay engaged.
While the premise had potential, the weak performances and unpleasant visuals made this an easy drop. Not recommended unless you're really desperate for a new thriller.
