The story revolves around Shen Jia Yue, who is framed and killed by her husband, Chu Jing Yan, and Wu Liu Li. She then reincarnates to seek revenge and rewrite her destiny. The series centers on the intertwined fates of two female leads with different backgrounds and personality traits, uncovering an unknown conspiracy. Like two flowers blooming, each has its own merits: one struggles in the mud, resorting to any means to climb up, striving for the highest status and the most glorious prosperity; the other is manipulated by fate, her kindness betrayed, yet her resilient heart supports her to grow towards the sun with composure. These twin flowers grow either sharp thorns or warm branches. Their entwined struggles form the rich content and dramatic tension of the story, filled with love, hate, greed, anger, delusion, and desire, making the narrative even more intriguing. Revenge Over Romance — A Miss for Me
I watched this for Fang Tong, but I was pretty disappointed. The story focused more on a sister revenge plot than romance, which really isn’t my cup of tea. The storyline felt messy and confusing — I didn’t fully understand what was going on most of the time. The twist at the end felt unnecessary and didn’t really add anything to the story. It was short, so I pushed through to the end, but it just wasn’t memorable, and I wouldn’t rewatch it.
The only real positives were the cinematography and the costumes — both were well done and visually pleasing. But overall, unless you’re watching purely for the visuals or the cast, I’d probably skip this one.
