Let Free the Curse of Taekwondo

Let Free the Curse of Taekwondo just started so I can't really tell if it's gonna be that similar but the two first episodes reminded me so much of The Time of Fever
-Daddy issues (father hits son)
-The son wants to run away fron the father violence
-Puppy like main character
- Tough main character that wants to protect puppy like main character.

One of the main leads from the both show is sent to somewhere to get education by their parents. Because their family caught them and learnt that their son is gay + they are religious family also. So both show is religious queer show

same director

They are both from the same screenwriter & director and they revolve around separation. Both also revolve practicing for the sports. They are really beautiful check them.

Both are well-produced BL dramas set in high school where the university admissions/exam process plays a large role in the story and is a source of conflict that complicates the leads' relationship.

Both are Korean BL dramas with broken families, red flag love interests, toxic behaviour and love triangles. Both also have a love triangle (or square). There are 3 guys liking the same guy in Secret Relationship and 2 guys liking the same guy in Let Free the Curse of Taekwondo.

***POTENTIAL SPOILER WARNING***

Both shows are BLs aka Gay Romance Dramas from South Korea. They are both about lovers that have broken up and then reunite after about a decade of separation as their connection is tested and feelings resurface.

Differences: In Let Free the Curse of Taekwondo, we see their origin story and what drove them apart before bringing them back together again. In Eul’s Love, it is set primarily in an office setting and according to the synopsis pre-release, it is going to focus first on the reuniting with explanations of the past as it progresses. (Written pre-release Jan 2025)

Both are Korean BL dramas that are a bit dark and talks about issues such as broken families. There is some time jumps/flashbacks that showcase how the relationship between the 2 main characters change over time.

Well! The storylines and plot are different, HSF is not really a BL, but as good as one.
Both series deals with MLs parting ways due to misunderstandings and mistakes, but still internally have feelings for each other. Then meet up after few years again and develop feelings, friendship and romance, protecting each other and caring for one another
