Another perfectly funny season

As always, it was another wonderful season. I couldn't stop laughing. Inukai Atsuhiro showing why he is my favorite actor, as always giving a great performance. Their faces and mouths are as always hilarious. The ending was very funny, and there will probably be a fourth season.

Honestly, I don't mind the fact that Mob doesn't hook up with anyone at all. The purpose of the work is to show Mob's struggle to avoid the BL world, and the logic is to hope that he fulfills his objective as a protagonist in overcoming the BL world. This is what makes the plot fun, it is the essence of the work. If Mob gives in, he loses and it's all over, so I like to enjoy this work for what it is: something funny with a funny ML. That's the magic of Zettai BL. And also, everything there is openly manipulated by the author of the BL manga who appears to corner Mob, so everyone can draw their own conclusions.

The idea of the love triangle was sensational. I really liked this proposal, which differs from the previous two seasons, as well as its ending, which for the first time was not Mob about to kiss a guy, but rather our obstinate ML being cornered in that super funny situation for the audience. Points for them! it was excellent!

I love Mob <3

Fun Season with a New Twist!!

Just like with the first 2 seasons, Zettai BL 2024 did NOT disappoint!

If you've gotten this far to season 3, you're probably a fan of one-shot episodes (like me). The storyline in each episode mostly doesn't impact the next... HOWEVER, this season was different!

A surprising touch that really elevated s3 was a new character's continued appearances and plot points - a new and interesting love interest! Besides the rare occurrences of a few other characters we're already familiar with, this was never done in the past. Overall, it's a refreshing switch-up that's keeping us viewers even more entertained.

It's also added a new layer of mystery; seeing Mob use BL logic to try evading these romantic advances but being surprisingly unsuccessful might spice up next season if we hopefully get one. And yes, we did get a new amazing theme for their wacky intro sequence.

All in all this season has no slow points and continues to be just as good as any other seasons.

Lost Some Of Its Charm

While I have a great affinity for Seasons 1 and 2 of this series, this set left me just a tad feeling deprived. It felt ‘empty’ and a bit stale. While certainly entertaining and funny overall, it lost a bit of its magic; at least for me. However, its ending did redeem itself. There is no question that overall, this series is entertaining and still humorous. I did not find it as funny or as creative as the first two seasons, however. ALL the characters seemed stuck to me; that is, none show any progression or movement or growth. I know that this is a guy living in a fantasy world of BL and it has a sense and feel of an animated comic strip coming to life; but there is nothing new here. In addition, the actors are getting to the point that they simply cannot play high school or college students anymore. I do not care how much make-up you powder yourself with, there just comes a point that someone in their late 20’s or early 30’s cannot play high schoolers anymore. It becomes a physical impossibility as well as an emotional and psychological barrier. You just have too much life experience to play sweet innocence with any honest conviction.

A lot more of the same thing.

This season is a lot more of the same thing as season 1 and 2. They don't seem to be able to come up with something refreshing.
It's just not my kind of comedy, and when the main gets exited or laughs about something he even becomes a bit creepy..

Visuals and music are ok and the acting is ok, it's all just average like the story.

It's not a bad watch, and seeing the rates, a lot of people really like it. So just go and see for yourself.

Zettai BL ni Naru Sekai VS Zettai BL ni Naritakunai Otoko 2024 (English title: A World Where Everything Definitely Becomes BL vs. the Man Who Definitely Doesn't Want to be in a BL 3 / (絶対BLになる世界VS絶対BLになりたくない男) by Konkichi (紺吉)), continues the story of Mob (Inukai Atsuhiro), the young university student who lived a monotonous but quiet existence until he discovers the true reality of his existence: he is a secondary character in a Boy's Love manga.
From that moment on, he decides to dedicate all his energy to fighting against that reality, to preserve his heterosexuality at any price and not to let himself be carried away by the seductive reality in which he lives... until he falls in love with a boy, Kikuchi (Asahi Itō). , who rejects him just at the moment when our protagonist declares his love for him.
Directed by Ryuichi Honda and Tatsuya Aoki, and scripts written by Izumi Kawasaki, the series has two previous seasons: the first, premiered on TV Asahi in March 2021, and the second broadcast in March 2022.
Erina Koyama returns to take charge of the music. Meanwhile, the seven-member dance vocal group GENIC performs the theme song: "New Game!!".
The drama is not exactly a BL series but a parody of the genre, celebrating and subverting the most common Boys Love tropes.
Will the protagonist manage to fall in love? Will Kikuchi return to Mob's life, after rejecting him to return to Igarashi, her handsome boyfriend? Will Mob open his mind again after the initial setback and finally find love in a boy? Will Mob prefer to continue being a supporting character? Will he let the other couples, including his brother Ayato and his boyfriend Toujou, be the center of attention while he chooses to stay out of it? Will he decide to maintain his identity as a passerby or will he once again become the protagonist of the BL world?
The drama is a live-action adaptation of the manga series "Zettai BL ni Naru Sekai VS Zettai BL ni Naritakunai Otoko" (絶対BLになる世界VS絶対BLになりたくない男), created by Konkichi (紺吉) and initially released in November 2018 on pixiv Comic, and subsequently published by Shodensha's Feel Comics FC Jam label, currently reaching four compilation volumes.
In addition to the actors already mentioned, the cast is reinforced by Yūtarō Goto in the role of Ayato (excellent in the LGBT+ romantic comedy-drama 'Zenra Meshi'), playing the role of Mob's younger brother; Akihisa Shiono as Toujou, Ryō Sekoguchi as Hatano, Wada Hayate as Mayama, Yuya Tominaga as Jōji, a schoolmate of Mob, and many other Japanese actors and actresses.
The introduction of many secondary characters and guest artists, as well as irrelevant plots, which do not contribute much to the general approach, in order to keep the audience entertained, works against it. It is common practice in most series, but sometimes it gets twisted.
And here, to make matters worse, these gloating largely undermine the cohesion and coherence of the proposal. In fact, the creators did not hesitate to violate the initial conceptions of some secondary characters, in order to adapt them to the emerging needs of the narrative.
Let's hope that in this installment the shot is rectified and it manages to close with sufficiently attractive conclusions to sustain the expected adventures of the protagonist, which will surely be taken up in a later season.
However, the viewer has had to forgive many inconsistencies and more or less drastic or hasty solutions, of various characters and conflicts, and especially of the initial approach, since the series does not manage to fully embrace the madness of the original premise present in the sleeve. It is true that, for example, it manages to make fun of the BL topics contained in Konkichi's work, but the drama in all seasons has stayed with the most conventional ones and has left aside the truly ridiculous ones that would elevate the final result.
I am referring, for example, to everything related to attractive male ghosts that one can only get rid of by hiring the services of an exorcist (equally attractive, of course), something that also happens frequently to Mob in the manga, but It has not been incorporated into the series, and this has an impact on the story.
It is also regrettable that while the manga is made up of very short chapters that go to the essence of the main plot, in the series, despite the fact that each episode has an average duration of 25 minutes and is divided into two segments, it is not possible to the same effect of immediacy that it would have if they were a series of short sketches.
This season may hold surprises, associated with the fate of the character played by Inukai Atsuhiro, a charismatic and ductile actor who in moments of humor achieves hysterical reactions, exaggerated expressions and clownish gestures, but in moments of greater drama he reinvents himself in gesture and restraint.
If someone asked me: What's so special about the series? I would answer that I can't help but compare this one with the previous two seasons:
- A romantic drama that radiates a humorous vibe from the first season.
- A series that sacrifices its humor to show more romance and sentimentality in each installment.
- A comedy that draws attention for its exaggerated reactions and scenarios, such as Mob employing the strategy of "sacrificing" anyone who is nearby instead of being the new love interest or target of the young people in love who surround him and who try to win him over, or the frequent extravagant moments such as finding an attractive stranger unconscious on the street and suggesting that others take him home to recover, something that Mob admits happens to him several times a month and that always happens long wishing him that someone else would take care of the young man and that they would be happy together.
- A protagonist who gains maturity in each season, especially by abandoning his initial outright rejection of BL and gaining understanding of the loves between boys.
- Greater romantic interaction between the characters than in previous seasons.
-The idea of Mob continuing to break the fourth wall.
- It offers a unique possibility of making the public enjoy a plot so absurd that it gives rise to a multitude of ridiculous and quite funny situations that mercilessly mock all the clichés and common places of mangas and BL series.
- Inukai Atsuhiro's solid performance and his extraordinary expressive force.
- The hope that the many supporting actors and guests will become more memorable characters by having greater developments in their personalities and backstory.

HILARIOUS!!!

i watching all of 3 seasons in 3 days and it's turned out so good. It's hilarious, funny, cringe but comforting to watch, overreact but it's so funny, and it's been a great day because i always laughed watching it, especially the mob expression, it's make meee laughing even more. And about the opening like, it's the actor that plays, dancing, and singing, right??? XD i just know it in season 3 like why i don't AWARE of their faces( i think because of the wig lmao ). It's great day and great drama, something new BL story i ever watch ( i mean it's not just BL but the whole drama i ever watch ). And about the talking or change the segmen, it's soo hilarious like he always say " ......Nomaki" after the segmen name, it's so fun and really like that part

9.5/10 FROM MEE!!!! Interesting plot, the funniest main lead and surprisingly good and hilarious, just love it. You should watch all of the season, i RECOMMEND y'all!!!

the previous seasons were extremely fun, and I was okay with the Author pulling a story reset on us after the very finale-like ending of season 2 and I was curious about what kind of new hijinks Mob will get into and to, see his character growth continue from season 2, and see what clever twists the Author will pull now but.. this season seemed to revert back to one-episode stories which were not that exciting anymore and the jokes didn't land with me as much either. however my main beef with the story was the introduction of the love rival or to be more specific.. the trope of the love rival, which was AGE GAP ROMANCE WITH A MINOR. at the very least Mob continued to try to avoid the flags, but I hated how the story kept going back to this trope and even showed another age gap couple where one of them was a minor......
there were some good bits among the brothers, and some indications that Mob's brother is aware of Mob's power to some extent (which I hope will be explored later..) but yeah, that whole high school love rival thing put a damper on the whole show.. I just want Kikuchi back to fix this storyline.

A filler-feel sequel

Mob and his never-ending attempt to run away from the BL world will always be a fun and chaotic season. Yet, I am disappointed with the third season, as the age-gap story was the main contributing factor. I just didn’t like it.

As usual, the opening song was an icon. They retained the whole sing-and-dance trademark from previous seasons. I like it. The environment where you live, surrounded by BL couples everywhere you go, with their cliche romantic scenes, was absolutely a great atmosphere for a BL fan. They still bring out their signature dramatic and comedic execution, which makes me laugh a lot.

Toujou is so handsome, especially during the Halloween party EP. The composition of short little stories featuring different men in this sequel was half good and half bad. A few good stories were about the physical contact arc, the scent arc, and the cinderella arc. The rest was either average or lame.

I miss the old feeling of getting fascinated by Kikuchi’s character. Fortunately, he came back at the end, but faced a young man as his love rival for Mob’s heart. I want him to end up with Mob in the final season.

Nggak sebagus season sebelumnya.

Pertama-tama, lagu openingnya diganti. Kedua, komedinya nggak seseru season sebelumnya. Mob kita nggak terlalu menghindar. Padahal aku juga suka akting lebay mob lain pas mereka pacaran wkwk (misalnya Miyoshi), tapi di season ini rasanya mobnya terlalu serius. Ketiga, rasanya ceritanya agak kurang nyambung sama season sebelumnya?
