Good Partner

굿파트너 ‧ Drama ‧ 2024
Jang Nara and Lee Boyoung are so pretty with short hair. Their character are so strong and independent. They have excellent chemistry with their fellow female partner. Glad korean dramas nowadays have more female centric dramas and allowing them to have strong and independent trait until the end

The female lead is a strong lawyer, great at her job in both dramas. The female leads of both dramas are similar IMO, two badass working women, In Hyena, the female and male lead have a lot of chemistry and there is a romantic undercurrent through the whole drama. In Good Partner, the husband cheats on the female lead and the story follow her divorce and revenge on the husband and mistress.

I love the FL leads in both these dramas. They are strong smart female leads, out for revenge. In the Glory, the FL is seeking revenge on her high school bullies. In the Good Partner, the FL is seeking revenge on her cheating husband and his mistress.

This drama also has a similar premise of an experienced audit manager mentoring the newbie or inexperienced junior auditor. Instead of legal cases, the drama tackled audit cases about the company corruption. The male lead is strong and principled like the FL in Good partner, but the newbies give them a bit of the human touch.

Both "Beyond the Bar" and "Good Partner" are legal dramas that explore the complexities of the legal profession and personal growth within that world, though they focus on different aspects of that experience. "Beyond the Bar" follows a rookie lawyer's journey as she navigates challenging cases and ethical dilemmas, while "Good Partner" centers on a divorce lawyer grappling with her own crumbling marriage while handling high-profile cases. Plus both rookies in the drama are smart, capable and humanitarian. In addition, their mentor-mentee relationship is in sync in both dramas...
