Koyama Seita, who carries a past conviction for skipping out on a taxi fare, had been living a quiet, modest life in Tokyo. One day, guided by a sudden, vivid memory of a snowy landscape, he relocated to the town of Ikeda in Fukui Prefecture. While many locals view the newcomer with suspicion, a young neighbor named Shimizu Miyuki goes out of his way to look after him—a kindness driven by a specific reason. This is a story of quiet solidarity and rebirth among those living with their own vulnerabilities.
