Shinsengumi: With You I Bloom Episode 3

The young man rescued by the trio turned out to be Matsunaga Shinnojo, the second son of the samurai family that Namunosuke once served. Shinnojo's family was ruined in the aftermath of the Ansei Purge, and he was forced to be adopted by a family friend. However, he was later abandoned and wandered in search of employment, eventually ending up at the residence of Yoshimasa Nueno, a wealthy merchant who served the Aizu Clan. He fled from Nueno's lecherous gaze and seemed to be pursued by his subordinates. Shinnojo is allowed to recuperate at the headquarters of the Mibu Roshigumi for a while in spite of initial doubts from the seniors regarding his rather unsavoury past with the Shogunate. Namunosuke is overjoyed to be reunited with him and happily attends to his needs, but Shinnojo harbours worries regarding what he fears is a transient comfort. He shares his fear with Daisaku, who understands him. Kyujuro decides to help Shinnojo regardless of any trouble, and Daisaku asks what he would do once he has taken his father’s revenge, to which Kyujuro has no answer.
