Shinsengumi: With You I Bloom Episode 4

Shinnojo leaves the barracks and aimlessly wanders, where he is discovered by the henchmen of Aizu Domain's trusted wealthy merchant, Yoshimasa Nueno. Upon learning this, Namunosuke rushes to his aid and Kyujuro, who accompanies him, but Daisaku refuses to follow. Meanwhile, hearing about the predicament of the new squad members, Kondo, Hijikata, and Soji along with other leaders attempt a rescue. However, they are stopped from moving forward by Serizawa Kamo, the head who had requested mediation with the Aizu Domain from Nueno. Daisaku bitterly reminisces about his past with an old friend beneath a tree before Okita Souji asks him why he had not accompanied his 'comrades'. Kyujuro and Namunosuke infiltrate Nueno's residence, where a large number of thugs await, but Daisaku arrives at the nick of time to save them. Their fight is cut short when Hijikata arrives with a threatening message from Serizawa, following which the recruits are successfully rescued. Kondo Isami disapproves of Serizawa Kamo's methods of dealing with Nueno. Namunosuke and Shinnojo recuperate and share their weals and vows. Kyujuro asks Daisaku why he had joined the Shinsengumi, to which he mysteriously responds that he did it as he was ready to die.
