Shinsengumi: With You I Bloom Episode 5

Upon the suggestion of the head, Serizawa Kamo, Daisaku, Kyujuro, Shinnojo, and Namunosuke, along with other members, are to demonstrate a "sword dance" in front of the Aizu Domain Lord during the audience. Under Serizawa's command, they all practice diligently. However, Kyujuro feels frustrated as he cannot perform as he wishes and perceives himself as the one dragging everyone down. He seeks guidance with earnest eyes but receives only jesting words from Daisaku, who is avoiding him. Shinnojo notices that Daisaku seems to be in pain. Serizawa Kamo chooses expensive haoris for the audience, much to the displeasure of Hijikata. The Choshu rebels plot to disrupt the audience. When Yamanami-san questions why he chose a 'lukewarm' dance instead of an actual duel, Serizawa warns him that such an era will indeed come and to remember his words at that time.
