I don't where to start because going in chronological order of episodes won't make much sense. Charlie is a stalker, Babe has daddy issues(MAJOR understatement of the year), Jeff needs a hug, Kim needs to learn to mind his damn business sometimes(I'm glad he didn't but he got his ass kicked real bad like pookie protect yourself), Kenta needs a hug and therapy and another hug again because of boy, Alan is Alan, North and Sonic need to get it together, Dean needs a xanny good Lord, Way needed to die the way he did, Charlie needs to get up out of Babe every now and then and answer his phone when his brother calls, Babe is kind of toxic but it makes sense given everything he went through maybe he'll get help towards the middle/end of season two, Charlie and Babe need a new method of solving arguments because although it's efficient they need to actually TALK.

That sums the show up pretty much without going too deep into the show. I wanted to jump through the screen when Way compelled Babe to listen to him and tried to, ya know, assault him. Nothing about that scene should've been funny but when Charlie walked in to save Babe and Way grabbed him and said "Charlie, Sleep" and Charlie just went limp noodle I let out the ugliest snort laugh ever. A little humor to count the seriousness was welcomed. The plot twists kept plot twisting. Never let me know your next move ahh show. Everyone should watch this. I love it so much. I have an emotional attachment to the characters especially Babe and Kenta because they were the most affected by Tony imo. I think I've written enough but seriously, watch the show everyone!!

I was robbed of so many couples

Not gonna lie I tried hard to like Pitbabe, but it wasn’t as good as how the trailer made it seem and I was so excited for 6 couples in one series, but as we know it would never work since it’s too much. We basically only got 2-3 couples, but the third one barely had screen time which was Sonic and North, but it was also like they weren’t a couple since they never revealed their feelings but their so close so people would think they are one. I was pretty disappointed with us not getting one certain couple which I will talk about later in my review and I knew they would’ve ate this show up, but I hope we at least get to see them together next season. I will have spoilers so be aware.
I really liked the concept which was racers because it reminded me of Love in the Air which was so good! On the other hand this didn’t go to well for me. I will be honest I wasn’t digging Charlie as much as others were because I just didn’t like the character which was he met Babe and sneaked in the event to ask Babe to teach him how to drive, but instead he had … with him. I guess it reminds me of the novel Jinx where they need to have … so it would make them preform way better than normal and they would suddenly become beast. Not gonna lie I was cringing whenever Charlie and Babe would be saying that their Mama and Papa to each other because that was giving second hand embarrassment to me. I was sad for “Charlie’s death” because of how sad Babe was and how affected he was after that, but once he saw Charlie again he was better than before. I did love Alan and Jeff, I felt their chemistry was off the charts and they were absolutely adorable in every way because Alan wanted to be close with Jeff no matter what and would’ve done anything to make him like him, I loved when Alan went to Charlie to ask him where Jeff was so he could apologize to him and take him out somewhere. I loved their roller rink date because that was the cutest thing on earth. I was so upset when Kenta and Kim didn’t actually get together because they had so much chemistry from that one scene where they made eye contact with each other. I also couldn’t tell if Dean and Winner were supposed to be a couple since they weren’t shown as much as everyone else was. I also felt if they got rid of the Way and Babe storyline we could’ve gotten a Way and Pete storyline because the trailer for season two is so insane for their storyline because when Pete put the flowers on Way’s grave I almost started crying. Overall Pitbabe had its ups and downs, but overall it was a good show and I recommend it.

Great series

I really liked this series, it has a great story and several plot twists. What keeps it very interesting throughout the entire series.

The music and visuals were very good and all the actors did a great job!
I definaty recommend watching it, i watched it twice now and will definatly watch it again in the future.

The only things i disliked was the mama/papa thing...and the fact that the were no woman in this series only 2 reporters and one buyer in the last episode.
It's a bit unrealistic that there are only men and they are by coinsidence almost all gay...

A nice blend of supernatural, detective, and romantic elements

What I like about the series is that it's not really a sports movie, as you might conclude from the title. It's more like a nice blend of supernatural, detective, and romantic elements woven into a sports movie plot. There's a mysterious undercover villain that adds an intriguing layer to the story. The characters are well-developed and psychologically complex, making plot twists less predictable, which I appreciate.
I've never been a fan of sports movies, but I really enjoyed this one. The original soundtrack is also quite good; I've listened to it many times.
But now, let me tell you about the things I don't like about the series. The final episode is really a mess. The actions of both the villain and the hero lack logic. A small, insignificant slip provokes the cool-headed villain into self-destructive, suicidal actions. Meanwhile, the hero accepts his lover's dubious actions without question. There should have been a stronger foundation for defeating the villain and at least two episodes dedicated to the lovers' journey back to normal.

This is a masterpiece

The first time I watched Pit Babe, I kept asking myself why I never knew about it for a long time before I saw it. From the get go, I liked it. My fave character though is Pete and I wish there was more story to him and also him being that Enigma dude, I wish it was explored further. Like Way, Pete's power is extremely rare and unique, and is supposed to be the most powerful one I believe. I really wish the Enigma were explored further. Hopefully they will be explored further in the second season (if we actually get a second season)

But speaking of couples, I definitely love Charlie and Babe. They were such a joy to look at and I loved them together. Everyone involved did an amazing job and I especially love the chemistry between Pooh and Pavel. You could see they really enjoyed each other. That first time that Babe was with Charlie and the sudden excited look on his face when he realized that this alpha doesn't 'stink' haha it was priceless. He was so relieved and it was so satisfying to look at. Those two really did enjoy each other, they reminded me of Kinn and Porsche, the chemistry, the love. . . It was a breath of fresh air. Damn I'm missing mama and papa 😅😅😅 definitely recommend this series.

A poorly “parked” relationship on the race track

Cinema and television, like all art that reflects the society in which they develop, have shown the trafficking of children through notable films, documentaries and television series. Numerous films and television programs expose this illegal practice and many of them are based and inspired by real-life cases.
Asian dramas are committed to bringing all genres to the public, including those in which their protagonists have a romantic bond combined with supernatural powers.
Has the fact that Thailand is a point of origin, destination and transit of human trafficking aroused the interest of Nopachai Jayanama (Peter), as director, and Kanokphan Ornrattanasakul and Issaraporn Kuntisuk, as scriptwriters, to tell us in 'Pit Babe' a story that mixes homosexual romance, sport, intrigue, action, human trafficking, fantasy and supernatural powers?
This drama, an adaptation of the web novel by _alittlebitch, winks at Thai reality: the value of child victims of human trafficking does not lie in using them as sexual slaves, in forced labor or to extract their organs for commercialization, but in possessing special powers.
Are we facing a social drama of denunciation of human commerce? I would like this to be its purpose, but consistent with its BL condition, 'Pit Babe' will enhance the romance. This arises between Babe (Naret Promphaophan-Pavel), the king of the racetrack, and Charlie (Krittin Kitjaruwannakul-Pooh), his supporter.
Will the series have a hidden message? How many of Tony's “sons” among the superpowered children are gay men today? Babe, Charlie, Jeff, Kenta, Pete, Way...? That is, the main characters with powers who were raised-educated by the person dedicated to human trafficking ended up being homosexuals. Is there a hidden message in this, simple coincidence or something of “destiny”?
Babe is a very popular racing driver and admired by everyone. His achievements in the sport have led him to be considered number one. Among his followers is Charlie, a young man who wants to be a racing driver like him. However, he does not have the money or the contacts necessary to achieve it. Therefore, he looks for an opportunity to get closer to the leader of X Hunter. When he succeeds, he asks for your help and to lend him a car so he can materialize his aspirations. The only solution he can think of is to reach a strange agreement with Babe. Against logic, he agrees to help Charlie realize his dream.
On this journey, will Babe be able to win Charlie's heart? Will he lose the race he most wants to win this time? Will Charlie be the one interested in captivating the racing driver? Will the relationship that began as a game triumphantly cross the finish line to become a real romance?
The most notable thing about the series is its exciting scenes and the attractiveness of the actors.
There is a secondary couple, made up of Alan and Jeff.

The chemistry between the protagonists and the bed scenes fail to lift a series whose characters are unrealistic and undeveloped. Pavel and Pooh have charisma and are attractive, but the script does not help their relationship connect with the viewer.
I must clarify that it is not that I find being 'passive' degrading. It's not that I assume that, in a relationship between two men, there is a "superiority" on the part of the one who is 'active' compared to the other who is 'passive', but the abrupt change in Babe's personality seems inconceivable to me. . This transformation comes at the same time as the loss of his powers, at the hands of Charlie.
Babe abandons his well-crafted playboy image for years. In all his previous relationships he played the role of seme or asset. In the words of the BL series themselves, he was, of the two, “the one on top.” He began his relationship with Charle by assuming this role in bed. Suddenly, without a convincing explanation, Babe becomes Charlie's uke. Babe swaps to play the role of the “bottom.” So, you would have to ask yourself: Did the loss of his precious powers lead him to be the passive one in their relationship? Didn't this move cause a loss in his character's potential?
Despite being in front of the cameras practically all the time, the actor who plays Charlie fails to connect with me emotionally. They are not facilitating emotions, but hindering emotions that are transmitted to me by a character who fails to sensitize me. By not feeling or understanding Charlie's emotions and feelings, I cannot essentially grasp whether it is love or just sex that drives him. Only his acting stands out in the sex scenes. Note that I do not say “when making love.”
The transformation of the character played by Nut, already in the final moments, is not logical either. About an obvious thing, the incurable remorse that must have accompanied Way throughout much of his life for betraying Babe for years, causing the rift between him and the man he loves, as well as many, if not all, of the problems that have hit to the positive characters by being infiltrated into their ranks, Way's evolution from evil to purity, from darkness to light is narratively constructed, sustained by the effort to achieve the viewer's identification with the traitor. It is necessary to save it, the creators thought.
Way drinks with Pete because “he wants to make the situation better.” He doesn't know “what to do next.” He does not know if “what I have always believed is the right thing.” He asks Pete why he decided to leave Dad, and Pete tells him, “Because the truth is not what I thought… I decided to leave to end the vicious cycle that Dad had created.” And he tells her that she still has the chance to choose what she wants to do. Way has been asked to show the despondency caused by guilt. Way has had the option all his life to choose the right path, but he has decided to be by Tony's side, even knowing what this means. But suddenly, some words from Pete whispered in his ear between sips of liquor and a few pats on the back invite him to “do the right thing.” And this would not be a problem if they had gotten rid of the rampant schematism in the character design and the all-too-evident desire to redeem him.
A story that fails to convince, clumsily designed characters, characters lacking development and therefore generating empathy, limitations in the explanation of the characters' decision making, poverty in the development of events and irregularities regarding changes of personality, are several of the main characteristics of the drama.
Peter throws together a few tropes and too many clichés. With fewer ambitions and fewer plot holes, perhaps the series would have become a full-throttle, full-speed car swallowing up the race track.

BL, Romance, Car racing, Omegaverse. Will keep you on the edge. Love this drama. Introduced a new genre in the bl industry. The alphas, omegas and the enigmas. It is very interesting and nice to watch. The actors did very well and can't wait to watch the second season. Babe was all serious until he met Charlie and he became hopelessly in love.
Charlie will do anything to make Babe happy and keep him safe. In all it is a good series but did not like the way they rushed the ending. They all did not act surprised when they saw Charlie alive after seeing him die, it was as if they knew about his plans to fake his death.

Uma serie com um universo alternativo... Sem prefundar no assunto para não confundir mais. Tem varias Ost que nos ficam no ouvido mesmo não entendo a lingua.
Em vez de um casal tivemos dois casais consumados. O Way cumpriu o seu destino. O Kenta deu a volta e matou o Tony ... O Sonic e o North juntos até ao final. Kim na equipa X Hunter...Winner levou a surra merecida e se calhar foi para a prisão para a beira do Dean. O Pete foi curar o coração partido... Não temos as respostas todas se calhar poderemos ter num futuro proximo um episódio com essas resposta...

Les débuts timides de l'omegaverse en drama...

En toute honnêteté, je n’avais pas prévu de regarder ce drama… Il m’avait intrigué en voyant Pavel au casting puis en découvrant qu’il s’agissait d’un « omegaverse »… J’avais tourné les talons… Alors pourquoi y revenir ? Car il s’agit de l’un des premiers adaptés… Qu’il y a donc un côté « novateur » (enfin sur papier hein…) qui a fini par m’intriguer.

Alors, j’avoue que ce drama n’est pas déplaisant ! J’ai apprécié suivre cette petite bande. Bien que beaucoup de relations sont, à mon sens, assez malsaines puisqu’elles commencent sur des bases de mensonges/manipulations. Après, si les personnages pardonnent facilement soit… Nous ferons avec x’D. Je dois tout de même souligner que le jeu des acteurs n’est pas toujours très égales… J’ai eu quelques bugs avec le jeu de « Pooh – Charlie » (J’ai parfois eu la sensation que son intonation sonnait faux & me suis demandée s’il s’agissait d’un doublage Oo ! C’est assez perturbant !) mais également avec « Pavel – Babe » surtout dans les scènes d’actions… x) !

De plus, l’omegaverse n’est clairement pas fait pour tout le monde… Et si je ne déteste pas le genre, je n’en raffole pas non plus, le consentement étant souvent approximatif voire inexistant… Et les droits humains bafoués…
Heureusement pour moi, finalement bien qu’il est vendu comme tel, à part quelques mentions par-ci par-là, le concept n’a pas vraiment été exploité… (Bien qu’il soit déjà facile de perdre le visionneur avec le peu mentionné…) Finalement, ça aborde l’omegaverse & les courses automobiles mais de façon succincte… Ce qui est dommage puisque c’est ce que l’on nous vend avec le synopsis…

Il est sur que puisqu’il s’agit de l’un des premiers, ils n’ont pas été à fond dans le concept… ll faut dire que cet univers n’est sans doute pas le plus facile a exploité… Après, j’imagine que maintenant qu’ils ont commencé ce genre, nous en verrons plus dans les mois/années à venir… Une chose est sure, si je me suis lancée dans celui-ci, il n’est pas sûr que je suive si une vague commence :D !

È diventato il mio BL preferito

Questo BL racchiude esattamente tutte cose che io amo, quindi per forza non ho potuto dargli meno di un 10/10.
Mi è sembrato come leggere un libro, è stato bellissimo.
Le gare con le macchine, i poteri, gli alpha…tutto semplicemente fantastico.
Era la prima volta che incontravo questi attori, e subito mi sono innamorata di tutti loro, mi sono entrati nel cuore, una recitazione non da poco a parer mio, anche le ambientazioni, le scene visive, le macchine, tutto veramente stupendo, un modo per rifarsi gli occhi.
Anche le coppie/storie d’amore, bellissime!
Una cosa di cui vorrei parlare è Willy, ho visto che molti lo odiano, ma solo a me è piaciuto? È uno dei miei personaggi preferiti, perché capisco che ha fatto tutto quello che ha fatto perché Tony lo ha torturato.
Ho trovato in generale, tutti i personaggi sviluppati molto bene, di tutti ho potuto concepire un proprio carattere e una propria personalità, questo l’ho apprezzato molto.
Ci sarebbero così tante cose da dire! Però non mi dilungo oltre, dico solo che io l’ho finito da poco, tutte e due le stagioni, e già ho voglia di rivederlo! Assolutamente bellissimo.
