some of yall r so caught up in worrying abt being queerbaited that yall end up undermining a clearly romantic relationship between two women yourselves. just bc friendly rivalry doesn’t give you an explicit kiss or confession doesn't mean jaeseulgi's relationship isn't romantic- the way jaeyi cured seulgis drug addiction, the was she was the first one she thii oh ight of letting her know that she’s still alive- and the way they look at eachother??? this is clearly romantic, we don’t need a kiss to seal the deal this show has gave us so much more, the feelings are muchhhh deeper.Was this review helpful to you?

a must watch series
casting, storyline and directing was superbactors portrayal of their characters were delivered well even the smallest details. you can feel the tension and chemistry of the leads. perfect!
the director did a great job no cringe scenes nor cringe acting by the actors.flow of the story is good that you can't predict what's next to happen even the characters true motives, views giving their own theories and guessing game. you see yourself hook by this series

The cast, The Visuals, The production The main actors are top tier! Never seen any GL story this good. Lee Hyeri and Chung Su bin are so perfect for this role and they are definetely doing a good job! The other actors as well are soo good! Can't wait to see what's going to happen in the next episodes! Seriously, this drama is amazing! From start to finish, I was completely hooked. The acting is top-notch, and every character feels so real. The emotions, expressions, and chemistry between the actors make every scene so enjoyable to watch. The storyline is super exciting—never a dull moment! It’s full of unexpected twists, keeping me on edge the whole time. I love how it balances action, suspense, and emotions so well. It’s not just another predictable drama; it actually makes you feel something.But honestly, my favorite part? The romantic scenes! Haha, I kept waiting for them because the main couple is just too cute together. Their chemistry is insane, and every little interaction between them feels so natural and heartwarming. The way they look at each other, the small gestures, everything is just perfect. I couldn’t stop smiling every time they had a moment together. Even when things got intense, their relationship was the highlight for me.
Overall, this drama is definitely one of the best I’ve seen. It has everything—great acting, an exciting plot, and lovable characters. I really hope we get more K-dramas like this in the future because it’s just that good! It’s the kind of drama that stays with you even after it ends. I’ll probably rewatch it again just for the emotions. Totally worth it!

I simply love the series, I like how the love interactions that occur are physical, we can see that at first neither of them trusted each other but in these last chapters they realize that They show the love they have for each other. A very unique drama, in all the best ways
Friendly Rivalry stands out from most of the dramas I've watched in my life. There is much to love in here: the cinematography, the experimentation, the flow, the unafraid heavier tone and more. Some of the scenes feel like watching a movie with the way they are constructed, and the script excels the most in those special scenes - which I believe were not present in the manhwa, so special props to the team behind the drama. It's so cool to watch!I admit I started watching because of *that* scene preview. but I really won't mind if there are no more "explicit" romantic moments. Female-focused stories feel way more close to my heart, so it's not hard to love this one. The relationship and complicated friendship between Jaeyi, Gyeong, Yeri and Seulgi is enough to keep me entertained, but Friendly Rivalry delivers much more. If you're looking for a drama where you can play detective and try to figure out what is going on everytime an episode ends, look no further! Friendly Rivalry has it. And it's so much fun.
The cast is really great, especially the two main characters played by Chung Subin and Lee Hyeri. Seulgi and Jaeyi's roles are somewhat complex, and it would be very easy to make the characters end up a little cringe or just not that good, but instead they deal with the many difficult scenes with ease. To top it all off, their chemistry is great. The casting is on point.
Maybe because this is being streamed online and not on TV, it seems Friendly Rivalry has a bigger amount of creative freedom. This makes for a really interesting drama to watch if you're trying to get away from the same old stuff.
I am truly glad to find artsy dramas like these. I hope Friendly Rivalry gets more and more popular and becomes a big success! Wishing it the best :)

This drama is freaking good, ngl you'll never know what will happen next bcs it has a lot of twist ! I love this drama so much!! Hoping that they'll add more time in each episodes.
