An Awesome Drama; Overlook the rating.
I don't want to write a lot, but you should know that this mini-drama is a gem. You shouldn't worry bout her engagement to the uncle because they won't get together. It has romance with hot kisses, mystery, action, suspense, and overall it has good plot. We have psychotic villains, but they got what they deserved. The main leads have great chemistry, are smart, and have good visuals. I know it doesn't have a good rating yet but you shouldn't let it decide. Just watch the drama and you will not be disappointed. I am pretending to be my twin brother who is pretending to be me.
Two twists , 180 degrees each get you in the direction that you were originally facing .. similarly when you pretend to be your twin brother who is pretending to be you . ... You are pretending to be 'YOU' ... This is more or less the main plot of this drama ... NICE.. little different from the traditional twin plot .. i enjoyed it till the mid ... But .. but ... I don't understand one thing ...the ML didn't want to tell FL that he is he chen ( her lover) cause he didn't want her to get in trouble but he was okay with her taking risks to find his location/information from the villain uncle ...does it make any sense... ??Cast is amazing ... I like Gua jin his acts well plus he is cute .. FL was relatively new face to me she looks a lot like korean actress played the FL in king the land ..but the one I loved the most was Roi ( villain uncle) ... He is handsome. Side chic is good but her styling was cheap ...
Overall a good story .. worth watching.

"Fervent Kiss" was a short love story. The drama didn’t show much. To gain authority and power, uncle tries to kill his nephew. Amidst this, there is also a small revenge subplot. Other than that, as I mentioned, it’s a brief love story. I liked the acting of all the characters. Especially Zhong Si Huai, he did a great job.Was this review helpful to you?

Okay I guess
To put it shortly, its alright. Not the worst mini series I have ever seen but also quite far from the best.I loved Jianan in Romantic (Love Strikes Back) and he is still good in this one. However there are quite a few holes in this drama (mini series often have holes but some of them are worse than others.
For starters, the pretending to be the twin brother was extremely confusing. I did not understand what was going on in the first 2 episodes. Identical twins is one thing but even their names were so similar that it was hard to follow. This drama required quite a but of concentration in that sense, so it wasn't like a fun light watch because I was struggling to keep everyone straight for quite awhile. The fighting scenes are quite poor, there aren't very many anyway but the scenes where there is punching and such are not done very well and look extremely fake. The romance was subpar, for a drama named Fervent Kiss, the romance scenes were quite short and far apart. Chemistry wasn't great which is a pity as I think ML and FL looked cute together but the actual acting spark wasn't quite there.
All in all, I wouldn't really suggest this one...

I absolutely love this drama. It's got everything.Chemistry between the leads was fantastic🔥. I can feel their whole emotions, their frustrations, how they wants to be with each other, but can't because of many reason.
He Chen had to keep his identities, Shen Hanxing questioning doubting her feeling towards the assumed- her Ex Boyfriend's brother. It's confusing I know.🤣 But in a way, I love It's complexity.🥰
It makes me on edge all the time. Like I had to remind myself a few times , that the ML was infact He Chen ,and that the only one who knew who he is , is himself only !! Everyone around him thought he was someone else. For that part, I had to remind myself who's who ?. Hahahaha that's part a bit tiring, but i love it.
It was a very pleasing drama. The whole journey of watching it is so satisfying, up to the point to the revenge. I think this is one of the drama where the plot just makes sense. It didn't drag, it just spot on. Towards the end, I was really really satisfied with the whole revenge plot. Just when I thought I could foresee the antagonist plan, damn!!.. our protagonist proved me wrong !!. They're ahead of me. And I love it. They are so smart , especially the ML , very cunning and calm.
I also love the FL. At first I underestimated who she was. But as the story progressed, we get to know her background..and towards the end, I subconsciously fall in love with FL as well😍. Her characters are aren't annoying, she knows what to do, ..not to mention she's gorgeous.
Guo Jia Nan performance also doesn't disappoint me 😘😘. Both of the leads visuals was 🔥🔥.
I love how the plot progress, it balances out both the backstory and the present. The cinematography and the angle shots were superb. Not to mention the whole settings!! God, their house like a damn hotel, everything was so majestic !!

I mean you can watch if you like Guo Jia Nan, he & team did such a great job here. Who can resist GJN when he gives you a confident & mischievous smile wearing a sexy glass? I can't. ML & FL's chemistry, acting, production quality, cinematography were great, but the story? Didn't make sense at all. Especially the character of FL, a typical damsel in distress, she can't protect herself, I hate this type of FLs. I never meant to give this a 5 but did just because of GJN.Was this review helpful to you?
