sweet drama
i loved this drama. they are so sweet together. the fl is so intense and you can feel the walls that she put up. amazing acting skills. the ml despite the trauma and pain was so gentle and insightful with her and people around him. i loved that! the grandmother…. yeah no. i was hoping she would have a stroke or something. she was so hateful and mean. then a 2 second apology and that’s it? nope! it was a light drama on the outside. but the grief that both sides held was smoldering below. it was nice to see how they slowly let go and dealt with it. i could have done without the second couple to be honest. that was too cliche for me. the flip flopping of hard core director and child was so cute. he was perfect for that role. i will keep looking for both actors because both of them are great and the ending was as sweet as it should beWas this review helpful to you?
Great premise wasted by bad casting
The ML looked way too young to be the age he was supposed to. Idk if it was because he was supposed to be my age that I couldn't look past it but the actor should be doing college settings or at least entry level jobs there's no way he's a CEO.The concept was so promising, especially since it involved gaming which I love, I just wish it had better casting.
I love the FL in Law and the City and I'm sure ML is talented but I could not get past the first episode. You could just tell he was a baby.
The story overall I have no idea how it played out but I just needed to vent my frustration, there are so many great actors in their late 20's early 30's and you couldn't get anyone else?
I'm sorry.

Finally, a K-Drama with lead who loves rock/metal music ?
If you're a sucker for K-drama clichés galore like me (and let's be real, who isn't?), "My Dearest Nemesis" is serving them up with a side of swoon and giggles for sure. And I would be lying if I said I wasn’t hooked from the very first episode.Things I enjoyed: I really liked the delightful blend of humor and heart. The banter between the leads is sharp and witty. It's a wonder they didn't set off my smoke alarms. There’s no unnecessary fillers or any secondary plots. Writers waste no time, which is always a plus in my book (I skip/fast forward a lot when I watch).
The female lead is feisty and smart and can handle herself. Plus I’m a fan of Moon Ga-Young. I really loved her in “True Beauty” and she doesn’t disappoint here. As a character she is consistent.
Now let’s talk about the adorable male lead (played by Choi Hyun-Wook). He is nerdry, liked rock music, goes to concert, reads comic books, collects toys, and of course pining over his ice queen of a coworker? Swoon-worthy, I tell you!
Despite the drama only being 10 episodes long (a rarity in the K-drama world since they are typically 16 episodes), the character backstories and motivations were refreshingly well-developed. No needless separation at the end, either—just a wholesome, fuzzy-feeling conclusion that left me grinning like a sixteen year old.
Things that I think could have been better: Many longer K-dramas always wobble in the last quarter. Perhaps because writers run out of steam. Not sure. "My Dearest Nemesis" doesn’t really suffer from this much but the last couple of eposides could have used a little zing. While we get a lot of snippets of their HEA, the resolution with the main antagonist feels a little rushed and there seems to be no actual climax. However, I am not upset over this. This is better than that the separation trope where one of them disappears because he/she things it’s going to make their loved ones life better. Then magically appears 5 years later and everything is okay. Instead, in “My Dearest Nemesis,” the leads actually communicate (not without some secrets) and support each other like a real couple.
Overall:
"My Dearest Nemesis" is a solid 8.5/10 laugh-out-loud rom com with tons of cute situations. If you're looking for a rom com that's equal parts funny and heartwarming, this drama is the perfect antidote to all those angsty, melodramatic K-dramas out there.
Trust me, your inner K-drama addict will thank you.
P.S. Since I’m a music nerd, I want to say the soundtrack is amazing. Special Mention goes to Stay by NELL. I added it to my playlist.

Easy to watch
While there is a heavy substance behind it wit tragic loss and family issues, the story is lighthearted and easy to watch. Cast fits well in their roles. Acting, script and production were nice. It's all about young first love in a contemporary timeframe. Admittedly, I would have liked the ecomedy in it, to be have been more prominent. If you are looking for a sweet easy to watch romcom, this is it.Was this review helpful to you?

It´s warm, charming, and worth watching if you’re looking for something light and heartfelt
I found the series cute and light. The fact that it only has 12 episodes makes it easy to watch quickly, and it doesn’t require a lot of concentration or bring intense emotions.I read some comments saying the main couple lacks chemistry or that their relationship feels more like a babysitter and a child rather than a couple. I can understand that point of view, but I think that’s actually one of the key aspects of the series: the fact that Joo-yeon is younger and likes simple things that society might label as “childish,” while at the same time he’s been forced to act like an adult and make very mature decisions from a young age to try to please his grandmother — who simply couldn’t stand his existence. This makes him someone who deeply needs care and love. And Su-jeong is exactly that person — an adult, mature, someone who’s been through a lot but is understanding and capable of giving him the love and attention he needs. I don’t think this makes their relationship one of siblings or of a babysitter and child — it’s just something a bit different from the usual dramas, and that’s what makes the story engaging and fun to watch.
That said, I have to mention that I feel everything developed way too fast in the last episode. Jung Hyo-seon didn’t simply ignore her grandson or insult him — she abused him, destroyed what was most precious to him, blamed him for his parents’ death, treated him like a disappointment, and saw him as a flaw in the family. And then, in the final episode, she suddenly has an epiphany and everything is resolved with a single apology...
I also feel like the drama tried to cover too much in just 12 episodes. I would have preferred that they developed certain topics more instead of creating so many side plots. For example, I would have liked to see more about Su-jeong’s relationship with her mother and what it was like accompanying her in the hospital, or more memories of Joo-yeon with his parents so that we could truly feel the bond and the pain of his loss. I also wish we’d learned what happened to the other two team members — in the end we only really know about Joo-yeon, Su-jeong, and Seo Ha-jin.
But overall, I found it really sweet! Without a doubt, Ha-jin and Sin-won’s relationship added a lot to the drama — their story was adorable and “complicated” in a good way. And I loved Su-bin’s brother Baek Su-bin — he seems like an airhead at first, but in truth he cares deeply for her.

If you're having a busy life but want to watch a warm romantic drama,go for this
i was having a k-drama slump recently...i wasn't getting the feeling I got from k-dramas before nowadays and recently,my life got busy with exams and other things....but I was dying to watch a k-dramas....the once I finished before this was all in action genre(weak hero class 2,study group, undercover highschool,ballerina,k2 etc) even though I'm a fan of action,i sometimes crave something sweet and just a warm watch... I've always loved the trope enemies-to-lovers and that's why I chose this drama to watch since I was feeling anxious and stressed about real life... watching this just calmed me down....they didn't give the extreme enemies vibe...but it was there...i love the casts of this very much because both of em are amazing and I was wondering how they would turn together...this is a smooth, warm watch that'll make you feel just cool...it won't make you obsess over it or something....just a worth-a-watch kindWas this review helpful to you?

A Grandmother Who shouldn't be forgiven
This Is Drama for New Drama watcher or for someone who is being Nostalgic about old Rom-Com K-drama.For me i m the later one may be that's why i could finish it in 2 days, thats means it was not boring for me but it has its own flaws. But sometimes we overlooked those cz we r not in mood to nitpick.Starting the review.. Trust me it'll be short only some like/dislikes.
The main couple : I'm not a fan of Younger ML,Older FL plot, thank god i didnt check the tag.But it didn't bother me cz i understand their feelings. Both actors did very well for me personally its the male actor who actually is a diverse artist.I feel really pity for him throughout the drama. He deserve a Hug.
The Secondary couple : The most unreasonable one.I don't know what's their motto in life about relationship, seriously getting breakup/reconciliation in whole show without even a solid reason.Specially the 2FL, she literally doesn't deserve him.I was not even interested.
Other : The most Negative part of this drama is they didn't focus really on other Supporting actors life that much. Still Chief kwon really impressed me & become my most fvrt character here.
Music: Max r pop or brand music i m not quite fond of them.
Hobbies r important they make you wish to live another day no matter how hard ur life is going - i really appreciate this view of the director.
Overall it was a nice watching.

Look For The Present
The story is about a man and a woman who met in the past when they were kids, when they knew each other in the game. Both of them have bad memories because the man states his love for her, but his looks are not good, so he was rejected. In the future, they meet again but don't know each other since they never meet again until they work at the same place. That's where the story becomes interesting when they started to love each other but didn't find out about their past. Was this review helpful to you?
Noona romance laced with cliché, fluff, and a sprinkle of cradle confusion
Normally, I don’t pick up dramas with lackluster reviews, but the premise intrigued me. But I’m such a sucker for noona-romance, so I took the obvious bait, and it didn’t disappoint. I enjoyed the fluff that pandered to my taste, because occasionally I need to take a break from the heavy, sprawling, thousand-lifetimes drama and giggle at silly, trope-y shows to wind down. This fits the bill, with its cliched meet-cute, and then eventually meet-don‘t (or rather, meet-rewind); from online-friends, to let-down rivals that feel like a little cradle-robbery, to I-hate-you-boss-type of relationship. And of course, who could ever forget the what-a-small-world-scenario in nearly every drama, in where this MC, knows this MC, who knows this other MC, who happens to be this MC, and you’ve got a recipe of coincidences!
Preventing me from fully relishing this drama is Ju Yeon’s grandma, who is so horrible that she makes Maleficent look kind. But at least there’s that bad-hair-wig-band that Ju Yeon’s rocking to, as their songs gave him solace and an outlet to tap out his frustrations.
Not to be outdone in the chemistry department is the other pairing of Sin Won and Ha Jin. Their attempts at trying to separate the OTP are interesting to watch.
All in all, I cannot dive too deep into a drama that is clearly not meant for any Baeksang awards, but if the goal is to provide an escape from reality for at least twelve hours, then this drama certainly has done its job.

I have a crush on black dragon too
The story was cute and quirky! Love both of these actors so I was excited to see them in something together. The chemistry was better in interviews than it was in the show to be honest, but in the series, it was fine too. Not the best, not the worst. There were a few moments that were annoying but not too many. Very funny and cute series! Was this review helpful to you?

Tried to read a manhwa cause the series was based on it but i couldn't read korean. it was a predictable series but i enjoyed some fresh air in it also, the main actor, that i wanted to see acting again and not just in Weak Hero series. the plot is of some old grudge but that ends in a good tone. light, not too great but comfortable series and it reminds us that South Korea likes rock too, except usual kpop music. What was this plot?
I was really excited for this show because I love some of the works from both actors but actually what was this plot?It started pretty solid in the first few episodes but I think the lack of chemistry and the constant micro issues that were resolved within a matter of a few scenes were what had me rate this drama only 5.5.
They overdid the "baby boss" concept for Juyeon to the point I literally viewed him as this 15 year old student even in the present time, which kind of ruined the whole "responsible young ceo with an older gf" concept.
The second thing that pissed me off is that one of the main plot points in this show is the confession scene, and the "trauma" that resulted for the both of them from that. Picking this as the main clashing issue between the characters was really weird because, call me shallow, but this wasn't that deep. So when they used this trauma as the reason for their break up i found it so rediculous I almost stopped watching.
Didn't the both of them fall for the present , grown up version of themselves? I found it very weird that Sujeong took it so serious to break up because of this. I get that she wanted someone to rely on, which she didn't really have her whole life but come on...by that point in time Juyeon was able to fulfill that conditon already.
And lastly, what I mentioned in the beginning, is that the last half of this drama was full of conflicts that seemed serious but they solved by just talking a bit in the same episode. That took the whole tension and seriousness away, I found that pretty disappointing. Sad, because I usually like the actors projects and this one just wasn't it.
