Both are Republican Era mini dramas by the same director. Both involve one of the leads marrying/being engaged to the other's sibling who later dies; both relationships were not for love. They then cross paths with the other lead and the two team up for a united goal against their enemies, falling in love along the way. Both dramas have secondary couples, one half of which is the ML's sibling.
