Watching episode 22 -24 I don’t feel like Xixiao has matured a lot over the 10 year separation he still acts childishly towards Wan. Much as she broke his heart the childish ways he finds to get back at her are show a lack or growth. I feel Jiang has had some growth and is not as needy. It remains to be seen if Jiang will show his true colours and betray Wan and Xixiao. Wan has some growth she can rely on herself now. Waiting to see how it plays out. I wonder if anyone else feels the same way.

Now that I found the novel going to read it but mostly likely after the drama is over. Curious if the drama matches the novel or if there are major changes. For me it's better that I do not read the novel and finish watching the drama before switching to the novel. If anyone reads this please don't reveal any spoilers from the novel (thanks).
