Devastated by his family, Lu Si Yu throws himself into the sea on his way to Yunhai, rejecting everything the Lu family forced upon him. Ye Hai Meng jumps in after him, but only she is rescued; Lu Si Yu is swept away by the current and presumed dead. The Lu family loses their heir, and their grip on Yunhai collapses. Grief-stricken, Ye Hai Meng regains her resolve after receiving his final message. In his belongings, she finds Lu Si Nan’s Latin book, which contains clues leading to a hidden secret.
