amazing

like all gmmtv shows, this is either gonna be a masterpiece or flop badly. i’m really hoping it’s the former. the acting in this so far is phenomenal. i mean we already knew with gun but pond and dew surprised me in this. i also love the girl. the concept of this is kinda similar to final destination which is one of my favorite horror movie franchises. i think the character’s names also mean something like night/dream and day/ozone. genius. night and dream’s story is peak angst and i’m living for it. i usually hate the “i love you but i’ll let you go” trope cuz wtf just be better. but in this one, he honestly has to let her go. this is peak angst and i’m gonna gobble this shit up. the relationship between day and ozone will also hit. i love the autistic representation we’re getting these days with gmmtv.

Buckle up, its going to be a wild ride.

First episode and I am all in. Gun is a true actor, and he took on this role almost perfectly. I love a good thriller and I cannot wait for more episodes.

Perfect opening!

Gives you just enough to get hooked, but doesn't leave on a cliffhanger. 10/10 for first ep! Dew's character is a bit off for now, but it will be explained soon. Pond is much more involved with Ozone (as he has special needs).

Confusion & Excitement

INCREDIBLE!

The fact that most of the scenes in the trailer already happened in the FIRST episode of the show is so exciting and scary!

Most things I predicted from the trailer are already proven wrong! I thought we are going to see a little flashback of leap day of 2020 with their other loved ones passing away and then jumped forward in time to like January of 2024 with Dream and Ozone preparing for leap day months ahead, but noooo we are in 2020!

This is my first time watching a show from GMMTV as it is currently airing and I am thankful that each episode is going to be released weekly because I don't think my heart can handle all the tension and scares if the episodes were all available at once lol. I am also new in the thriller scene and to the new GMMTV shows (never seen Pond, Dew, & Pathitta act before), so I am happily surprised in the cinematography, visual effects, and lighting. (SIDE RANT: I really appreciate the lighting because shows in this dark genre where I am from tend to have little to no lighting and I can barely see anything. Here, the lighting is dark enough to create the ominous/scary tone, but is light enough for you to see the actors.) Gun nailed his acting as always! As for Pathitta, Dew, & Pond, I am glad this is my introduction to them as they also nailed it as well. I think we will get more emotional scenes from Dew & Pond, so they still have a lot to offer, but for now, with the scenes they are given for this episode, they did really well especially with the final scene.

The professor is definitely sus (where I am from being born on leap day is kinda common, but this is a TV show where every detail is thought of heavily, so I am onto him). I love the connection of the first & last scene with Ozone falling (lol I didn't thought much of the first scene until I saw the last scene. I thought the first scene was only for aesthetics.)

My predictions are that either Dream & Ozone will somehow miraculously survive 2020 and someone else will meet the tragic fate or Day & Night are now stuck in a time loop and they have to relive 2020 (the latter will most likely happen). Like Dream & Ozone can't just died and that's it! They are one of the main characters! But who knows what will happen maybe they are just going to be ghosts for the rest of the show lol. Also, I don't know where did the aunt in the teaser for the next episode came from. Is she Ozone's mother in a flashback or is she another aunt? Also, are we going to 2024, then back to 2020 in episode 2 or are we going to be stuck in 2020 for the majority of the show?

I am looking forward to the answers of my questions and the first meeting of Day and Night!

This first episode is an amazing start to the show! ❤

P.S. I don't know if it is just me, but I keep getting Day & Night switched. Pond & Dew looks different and I already put their names to their faces well, but it is hard to put their characters' names to their faces as Pond gives off night vibes and Dew gives off day vibes.

Perfection

What do you get when you put Dew, Gun and Pond together plus an awesome supporting cast….perfection. The tension and the drama is already on point. The technical parts were on point. It was fullof intrigue.

Final Destination - Thai Edition

The show's solid start relies heavily on good visuals (including some creative cinematography), decent pacing and clever presentation of the plot. The growing feeling of dread is there, helped by a complete lack of comedy. Performances are by far the weakest part of the show's opener, although Gun and Title should be commended for their efforts. These are, unfortunatelly, not matched by Dew (pretentious), Pahn (blank) nor Pond (trying hard, but failing). Ep. 1 did, however, encourage me to continue watching.
