Leap Day

Both dramas are Thai thrillers, main plots are about mystery. I had very similar emotions from watching both, suspense is good as well as acting.

In both dramas the plot is revolving around two brothers, one of whom is autistic, and their interactions.

They have similar titles, and as it suggests they're both about leads born on February 29th and due to that they encounter some mysterious curse/magic.

Leap Day (2025) and The Gifted (2018):

- Both have mystery and supernatural plots.
- "Gun" Atthaphan Phunsawat stars in both dramas.
- Both give a sense of thriller.

Both are mystery-supernatural dramas. "Gun" stars in both series—in The Gifted, he portrays the character Punn, while in Leap Day, he plays Ozone. Both dramas deliver a thrilling experience while watching. The Gifted is about supernatural powers, while leap day is about curses.

Enigma (2023) and Leap Day (2025):

- Both have mystery and supernatural themes.
- Both give off a dark and suspenseful vibe.
- Both focus on unusual events tied to fate, curses, or the unknown.

Both are mystery-supernatural dramas. Enigma is set in a school haunted by dark secrets and strange occurrences, while Leap Day follows characters affected by a leap year curse or mysterious time-related events. Enigma has a more horror-thriller school setting, while Leap Day leans into emotional fantasy and fate.

Similar opening episode - a mystery and a curse/supernatural plot device/driver. Good cast. Interesting hook.

A main difference though: Leap Day isn't a BL (or it doesn't look to be, from episode 1). So don't expect any (maybe bromance).

Supernatural plot / plot driver. Good actors. Promising start for Leap Day. Guaranteed a good series - especially the second half - from Peaceful Property.

Note that Leap Day doesn't seem to include BL, Peaceful Property, while stopping just shy of actual BL, did include a lot of pretty explicit innuendos.
