A Snooze Fest

This is yet another in a long line of Pollyanna anthology BL love stories that presents gay love relations in the fairytale world of Happy Valley with little cognitive anchor to any sense of reality except episodically. And when those were shown, it became empathetic and charged with human emotions. If only the whole anthology was made like that, this could have been a good series. Instead, it is just another very forgettable BL from Thailand. Many of these actors (but not all) are very good, but these inane and pedestrian scripts simply do not allow them to grow or mature or show their true potential in acting. I honestly wanted to drop this series but finished it anyway. I have this ‘thing’ about not dropping a series once I start one. Unfortunately, I think this series will fade from my memory very quickly.

Another GMMTV series for children

i just found out this has 24 episodes…24? If you like mindless GMMTV series that all end the same than this is for you. By mindless I mean that you already know how each couple will get together by the end. Luckily, the saving grace is the fun actors…fun if you are into a simple story stretched out to infinity. I am amazed that this can go for that many episodes. I watched ep. 12 today assuming they would wrap it all up and they could have based on other series but it is only half way over. I have better things to do including watching other series that are a bit to a lot more complex and unpredictable. However, if you are new to BL or just want a PG silly series than enjoy. I’m being crabby after watching so many better BLs over the last 5 years.

It's a piece of crap !??

Mediocre series as expected from GMMTV
it's a typical university BL , with engineering students , the only people who are saving this show are JuniorMarc and PerthSanta and AouBoom🙄l don't know why it got this high rating , BL fans settle for mediocre BLs🤡🤡BookForce need to improve on their acting skills or maybe get better storylines , they did good on Only Friends l don't know what they're on Perfect 10 liners , it's literally embarrassing at this point and what's with Santa's character acting like a 5 yo 🤡like please he needs to pull himself together

unserious over the top funny

I knew going in this was going to be a comedy, but this is so over the top and ridiculous. and that kinda makes me love it.

this is a HUGE production and it has sooo many gmm actors we are used to. it’s weird seeing so many together. but so far, it’s pretty simple to follow.

to be honest, although I do love the other ships I am mainly here for PerthSanta now and even though this has only just begun I already love them. Santa brings a fun, childlike energy to the mix and he compliments Book so well. I am really excited to see more of their interactions as this progresses.

I will say I do think forcebook are a little old to be playing in a school series. their energy just screams older. especially when book was in the high school outfit in the beginning. however, this series isn’t meant to be earth shattering. it’s meant to be a fun unserious series so I’m willing to suspend belief and pretend they are younger. same goes for junior and mark.

is this over the top? yes. is it ridiculous? yes. do I think it’s gonna be awesome? also yes.

I’m here for the long haul. let’s goooo!

Typical Uni BL, But with Actors that Make it Worth Watching

At last, this series has finally come to an end. While it’s one of the longest series I’ve kept up with, it also somehow felt like one of the shortest. Honestly, Perfect10Liners has done such an incredible job of keeping things intriguing throughout all 24 episodes. We’ve been given so much, from decent storylines to unforgettable moments, but most importantly, we’ve been introduced to some truly impeccable couples and wildly entertaining actors who basically just played themselves on screen.

Let’s Dive In.

Perfect10Liner is another one of GMMTV's tries at a long ongoing series, which I don't mind as long as it has this style: multiple couples, constant switch-arounds to their stories, decent character arcs. We Are was good, but it lacked a lot plot-wise, with some couples getting more screen time than others, and this series makes sure not to do that. We get eight episodes with each of the three couples, and it builds onto their relationship whilst starting up the next.

I think production was decent, kind of what we normally see, so nothing new here. The product placements felt, once again (for the umpteenth time in a GMMTV series), very pushy. Other than that, there's not a lot to harp on when it comes to production.

Moving onto the couples, I'll go in order of favorite to least favorite.

Faifa and Wine:
Well, for starters, Junior and Mark were the only reason I decided to watch this while it aired, but I didn’t realize until a little later on that this was an anthology-type series. So, it’s only right (and honest!) that they were my favorite couple. Their chemistry was so good, better than we had even received in Cherry Magic. Wine was working to accept his feelings for men, and Faifa was working on not always having to be liked by everyone and do everything for everyone. Junior is seriously the funniest GMMTV actor. Seriously. He played this role to a T; knew when to be funny and when to be sad. I think Mark has a lot more growing to do in the acting department, but nevertheless, did a good job. When it comes to the side characters within Wine and Faifa’s story, they felt very chaste compared to the others. I think they could’ve utilized them a little more, but I’m not too upset by what we got.

Yotha and Gun:
Wow, wow, wow. Santa and Perth knocked it out of the water for their first series as a couple. I wasn’t expecting much, but they completely took me by surprise. In terms of character growth, I think their couple experienced the most, especially Yotha. Something about seeing a brooding, stoic man fall head-over-heels for someone so opposite always does it for me. Lots of great moments and lots of great chemistry. Absolutely adored Aou and Boom in this. So much toxicity and sexiness, literally cannot wait for them in Only Friends. The only real problem I have is the miscommunication that could’ve easily been resolved in so many different scenarios. More so lazy writing than their problem, but it still affects my overall love for them.

Arc and Arm:
Not least because I didn’t like them, but least because they didn’t shine as bright as the other two. But even still, I loved Book in this, probably one of my favorite roles he’s ever played. I think I saw a comedic side of him that I wasn’t ready for, and he did such a stellar job. Force didn’t do much since he was mostly there to be stoic, but protective. I adored their scenes, and I could watch Force pick up Book a hundred times over again. The best part about this couple, though, was Book’s friendships. I don’t care very much for Poon and Mark, and their relationship felt a little awkward anyway, but when it was Book, Poon, and JJ, I laughed every single time. I’m going to miss them the most.

Overall, this is nothing spectacular, it’s just another uni BL, but with actors that do so well in their roles that it feels a lot bigger than that. I don’t think I would’ve liked this nearly as much had I just binge-watched, so I’m glad I was able to keep up with it.

Ratings:

Story: 7.5/10 – Again, not spectacular. I think a lot of the story is within Yotha and Gun’s storyline, but throughout, there are some good moments. But a lot of this is just fluff and giggles.

Acting: 9/10 – Such good performances, especially from Santa, Junior, Book. Everyone else did well too.

Music: 5/10 – Didn’t pay attention to it. Skipped the singing.

Recommendation Value: 8/10 – It’s hard not to want to recommend this. It’s lighthearted, it’s funny, and it’s super cute. Also, there’s a scene where Book squeezes Force’s bare pecs, if that does it for you.

Perfect 10 Liners = Perfect 10 scores

To be honest, I was initially hesitant to watch this series, as I was wary of another university-themed drama with a lengthy 24-episode run. I only began watching it a week before the finale aired, and I’m so glad I did. The series was so compelling that I ended up binge-watching 23 episodes in just three days—I was completely hooked from start to finish.

I particularly enjoyed the development of the three main couples, from enemies to lovers, as they faced and overcame their fears together and gradually opened up to love. I appreciated how seamlessly their storylines were woven together throughout the series, creating a harmonious and engaging narrative. The relationships were filled with "green flag" moments and genuinely heartwarming scenes.

The cinematography and plot were exceptionally well done, and all six lead actors delivered stunning performances. Even the two secondary couples added charm and fun to the overall experience. It was a beautifully executed series that exceeded my expectations in every way.

A Series of Missed Potential

This show was a total wreck wrapped in neon colors and wasted potential. Not even chaos just straight-up nonsense. The plot was a mess. The pacing was an insult. The characters were mostly unbearable. Acting? Some of them tried. The emotional arcs were nonexistent. But the OST “Trial Love” is not just the best thing about the series, it’s the only thing worth remembering. A masterpiece trapped in a mess.

Arc and Arm

Arc is a walking crisis with a savior complex. Possessive. Controlling. Hot-headed. Telling Arm to delete a photo because it showed some skin? Sit down, you’re not a moral guardian, man you’re just insecure. That reckless driving scene? He had Arm in the car and still thought throwing a tantrum with the steering wheel was okay. He endangered a life just to sulk. And that’s the moment he starts reflecting? Arm is kind, but kind doesn’t mean spineless. He deserved someone who respects him, not someone who manipulates him with “I’m just scared of losing you” excuses. And yes, for the people in the back: a kiss without consent, be it on the lips or forehead, is WRONG.

Yotha and Gun

Yotha? He’s not just a red flag, he’s the whole damn danger zone. He kissed Gun without consent. That’s not confusing or romantic. That’s assault. Then he kissed his ex. And the excuse? To understand his love for Gun? Absolute nonsense. Yotha’s apology was lukewarm, vague, and delivered like he was reading a script at gunpoint. And somehow, that earned him a second chance? Make. It. Make. Sense. And after all that, he has the audacity to say, “Wait for me to understand love”? And Gun actually did?? Gun behaved like a 5-year-old stuck in a melodrama. His blind loyalty made zero sense. He was constantly hurt, confused, and still clung to Yotha like trauma was love. And let’s talk about that trauma plotline. Gun who was shown to have serious trauma just magically healed in a single night with Yotha?? What kind of emotional gaslighting fantasy is that? Real trauma doesn’t vanish with a forehead kiss and bad dialogue.

Faifa and Wine

Faifa was a one-man identity crisis. Jokes around one minute, then being serious and traumatized about his family the next. And yelling “THIS IS MY BOYFRIEND” in public like he’s at karaoke. Just doing things to prove his relationship was just as good as his brother’s. His character swung between tragic and clownish without a hint of stability. Wine said yes once, and Faifa turned it into a world tour announcement. Sir, relax. Their moments could’ve been sweet, but the tonal whiplash made it feel like I was watching two different dramas fighting for screen time. If this were real life, Wine wouldn’t have lasted long with someone like Faifa. As an introvert, being constantly pulled into Faifa’s loud, impulsive world would’ve drained him. Eventually, the flashiness would’ve drowned out his own voice. But the chemistry was good.

Po and Sand were the only ones with natural energy, comedic timing, and actual likability. They had more chemistry in their crumbs of screentime than the leads did in the whole show. Sand being paired up with Pond was actually pointless due to their lack of chemistry.

Don’t come at me with, “If you hated it so much, why did you watch it?” Because I damn well wanted to. I gave it a shot. Hoped for something real. Instead? Got whiplash from the mess. This series glorified toxic behavior, gave non-consensual kisses a romantic edit, and let manipulative characters win. The only masterpiece here was “Trial Love.” That OST deserves awards. Don’t tell me I didn’t “get it.” I got it. And it’s not even a 7-star series.
And also the show may have struggled with story and character depth, but on the technical side, it did a decent job. The cinematography looked good, the production quality was clean, and the direction had a few strong moments. The editing and sound design worked well, and the visuals were often engaging. While the plot and emotional arcs didn’t land, the team behind the camera clearly put effort into making it look and sound polished. It had potential and at least from a technical angle, it delivered something watchable.

It's okay.

For the most part I liked it. It's an easy watch, just silly and not that deep. It's a little long, towards the end it seemed cluttered, like they felt they had to shove all the storylines together. In the future if they do a show with many plots/couples, they need to make different music for each one. I got so tired of the music after 24 episodes. They played it super loud during intimate scenes to the point that I had to mute it.
But on the whole I don't think it's that bad. It's funny, I just came from a show that's currently airing that's a hundred times worse than this show, and everyone over there will defend it to the death. The reviews here are a lot more moderate and reasonable. If you're looking for a light show that's easy to watch, give this a try.

not a perfect 10 but very light-hearted and fun

The series is actually segmented into three different arcs, each focusing on one of the main couples, so it's almost like you are getting three series that share the same universe all in one. Each couple's story can be watched isolated without needing to watch the others if you don't really care about a certain couple, though a lot of cute moments would be missed. The story of each couple also didn't end even as we focus on another pair. I loved that each couple still had a presence in the overall series all the way through until the end. The general vibe of the series is very cute. I liked it, it was fun.

● REVIEW
-------------------------------------------

[ --LIKES-- ]

✔ Pretty stress-free with very minimal angst. While there is trauma and some minor conflicts, they never really felt like anything to be too concerned about, especially given the feel of the series. We don't really have any villains or antagonists other than the gang that fought Yotha and Klao, but they weren't any kind of threat. I think Klao was the closest we came to an antagonist, but I hesitate even saying that since from Klao's perspective, Yotha could be seen as the antagonist. Honestly, everyone's enemy was probably themselves.

✔ Supportive friends and loving parents.

✔ Po.

✔ Lots of light-hearted, cute, and funny interactions between the characters. This is the big selling point for me. The interactions between the characters and their dynamics was very silly and fun to watch.

✔ The series is structured in a way that it could be broken up into 3 smaller series with about 7-8 episodes each. They would just all share a universe. If you wanted, you could easily pick which of the three main couple you wanted to watch without needing to know too much context from the other parts.

[ --DISLIKES-- ]

✖ I think even 7-8 episodes per couple arc still felt a little long. I think I would've liked the series a little bit more if it was a tad shorter. Maybe 16 total would have been fine. So about 5 episodes per romance arc and then 1 for the finale.

✖ The romance aspects of the stories weren't really that memorable to me. It was more the cute/funny interactions and interactions with other characters apart from their romantic partners that left more of an impression on me. The stories weren't bad, but they weren't really anything that left an impact on me. It felt very standard. The chemistry was good, though. I think of the three main couples, I enjoyed Faifa and Wine the most.

-------------------------------------------
● IN-DEPTH REVIEW
-------------------------------------------

[ --STORY/PLOT-- ]

One of the common denominators in all three of the stories is that one person in the pair don't really take care of themselves or their own feelings. It's not until they fall in love that they realize that their behavior is not only detrimental to the person they care about, but also to themselves. They all learn this lesson, and they all learn to do better. One or both characters in each pair also have some kind of trauma they are dealing with that gets healed with the help of their partner. Basically, all three arcs follow a similar formula with slight adjustments. However, despite the romance aspects being pretty standard, they never felt boring. It just wasn't too impactful overall, either.

What I loved most about this series was the silliness and wholesomeness of the interactions between the different characters and their friends. The dynamic changes depending on who they are with and who they are interacting with. For example, I liked Yotha and Wine's awkward interaction after they got paired together as mentor and mentee. I enjoyed the playful fighting between Faifa and Gun, and Yotha just blaming his brother while being blind to Gun's actions. I also just love the stupidity of Arm and his friend group. There are lots of interactions like that in the series that were just cute or comedic. It's all very endearing and they were the most memorable part of the series for me.

[ --ACTING/CAST-- ]

My interest in this series was mostly because of Santa. I saw him in 'My Only 12%' and was curious to see him in another role as I liked his acting. He is very expressive, very similar to Perth, so I already liked the idea of that pairing. The series has a pretty stacked cast with a lot of faces I recognized. However, with that said, after watching this, I wasn't' really left with any strong feeling about any of the couples or characters, but I think it was just mostly the story and not due to the acting. It wasn't that it was bad, it was just okay. The chemistry was good. I also did like some of the emotional scenes when it came to the weight of their traumas though. They also did well portraying the cute and funny scenes. I have to admit, sometimes the dialogue/acting also felt very cringe or cheesy, but I also understand that the tone of this series is not meant to be that serious.

[ --MUSIC/OST-- ]

I like the intro song "วันนี้ Perfect". The other songs for each of the couples were okay, but they were not something I really vibe with or had any strong feelings about.

[ --REWATCH VALUE-- ]

There were lots of cute and funny interactions. In general, the vibe was very light and fluffy feeling. It's something you don't have to pay much attention to. For these two latter points, I think I could watch again while I am doing something else, or it can be something I can watch along with someone else.

[ --FINAL THOUGHTS-- ]

Sometimes, it's nice to just watch something that isn't too angsty or heavy. No villains or any characters that I would consider annoying. It was cute, sweet, light, and funny to watch. While the romance and chemistry in general was just between okay and good, the funny dynamics and silly interactions between characters made up for it and turned it into something a little better than just good. Very light, zero stress. I just enjoyed the vibe a lot, so my high rating is attributed to that.

-------------------------------------------
● NOTE
-------------------------------------------

I'll always conclude my review by saying that ratings and reviews is not really a indicator of whether you may enjoy something. We all have different criteria and standards. Don't let a bad rating, review, or comment discourage you from watching something. My advice will always be to give something a chance if the premise interests you, and only use the ratings/reviews to determine priority if you have a list, or if you're deciding if you want to continue it due to time limitations.

♥ Thanks for reading my review! Feel free to comment or hit me up if you want to discuss anything ♥

Not my favorite...

I'm happy that so many of you loved this series. I had issues with it, here are my pros and cons:

PROS

MUSIC. I thought the music was really good, and I was especially impressed by Junior's singing voice.

KLAO/WA. They may have had their share of problems, but they behaved like adults and brought the only sizzle factor to the series.

PO. Hands down, best character in the series. It was impossible not to fall in love with him, I would have liked to see him in every episode.

CONS

LENGTH. Six months is a LONG time for a series, and much of it seemed very draggy. Some of the episodes didn't accomplish much, and I ended up watching much of it at 2x speed just to get through.

COUPLES. With Arc/Arm, I felt like I was watching A Boss and a Babe again. They just changed the names of the characters. Faifa/Wine were the best for me, although the cutesy/sweetness practically had me taking insulin shots for diabetes, As for Yotha/Gun...

YOTHA/GUN. While Perth and Santa are very good actors, I strongly disliked these characters, they were the worst part of the series for me, so much that I nearly dropped it. Gun started out acting like an annoying 5-year old and Yotha was a thug. Practically overnight, Gun started acting his age (okayyy... ) and Yotha just went around kissing guys without consent. Gun's childhood trauma didn't convince me, and Yotha's (and siblings) much deeper issues with Mom were not resolved AT ALL. Both Gun and Yotha were messed up characters who had no business being in a relationship with anyone, they needed years of individual therapy before considering such a thing. And then -- voila! -- they magically became this cutesy-pootsy-wootsy couple that will live happily ever after, because love conquers all. Hand me the barf bag.

A disclaimer: for those uber fans who would say to me: "You're just a hater and you should have dropped the series rather than making hate comments..." Sue me. I didn't hate the series, I just didn't love it. But I did enjoy parts of it and was invested enough in the actors to see how it all panned out in the end, although the whole Yotha/Gun segment felt like slowing down to observe a car accident... you know you shouldn't, but you can't help being curious.

I can't say I'm sad it's over. It's a 5.0 from me.

Not so Perfect!!!

I first started this drama when it was on air.
Left after 4 episodes. For me ArcArm's story wasn't captivating enough to continue the series. So I just dropped this show. But then I found the ratings here are so high, So I thought I might've missed something but no I think this show is overrated.
Let's talk about ArmArc Story. I came here with lots of expectation. I knew it was going to be silly. But still it was too repetitive. That Arc is flirting in each episode on Arm's face but he is so dumb that he still can't get what's going on and he was character who already had a relationship but still behaved like an relationship idiot.
Liked the trio Arm-sand-po.
Second YothaGun. Liked their story as well, but I found their story was unnecessarily long. I think that Yotha and his mother's part was felt so hurried.
Third one is my favorite FaifaWine. I really loved their story. They communicated really well. I didn't cry on the whole show, but I cried with faifa even though he didn't. There were no misunderstandings between them. The flow of their story was so smooth that I slipped there. And Faifa and his mother's part was also hurried.
Apart from them we had side couples again one with fluffy and one with mature romance and few guest appearances(Tawan❤️).
I know that actors in this drama are already established actors. But it was my first PerthSanta and JuniorMark series. And I liked these actors very much. What I don't like is the weak plot especially in ArcArm's story. They deserve a better story.
At the end I dedicate my 7.5 to FaifaWine.
