_________________________________________________________________ J A I R E N / K R I M Z U N | I like swimming, surfing, soccer, spaghetti, superheroes, simple things, making no sense in the most logical way, trying new things, not doing anything, sleeping, and Savi. Suddenly, pineapples!
I enjoy watching series whenever I have time. Wuxia, xianxia, fantasy, action, romance, family, LGBTQ+; I don't really discriminate against genre or country as long as it's something that interests me. I also really love music. Korean, Chinese, Taiwanese, Japanese, Filipino, Thai, Viet, English; I enjoy them all. I do lean more towards K-pop, though. Lee Hyori, 2PM, and B.A.P were my first love, but nowadays I'm pretty much into everyone and everything. I have such a huge backlog of music I want to explore and it doesn't help that these series introduce me to so many new music as well. Feel free to throw stuff at me. Thoughts, music, or friend requests— I'm open to all! |

Personal Notes & Self Guidelines: | 1. Give the drama a chance if the premise interests you. | Ratings, reviews, and comments aren't really a good indicator of whether we will like or dislike something. We all have different tastes and standards. I think ratings/reviews should only be used to set priority if we already have many things we want to watch or for when we want to decide if we should continue something as I acknowledge that time can be a limiting factor. | 2. Be kind (to others and yourself. Don't let anyone bully you, but also don't bully others. ) | It's fine to have differing opinions and feel how we feel, but keep it civil. Any opinions posted can be challenged, but there is no need to personally insult or attack anyone. If I am unkind, call me out on it. I won't be offended. Similarly, it's fine and good to call out and acknowledge bad or toxic behavior in series, but we should also keep in mind that it's also fiction. Discuss/educate. It's fine if we don't enjoy it, but don't shame others for enjoying it. | 3. Give credit where credit is due. | I like to focus more on the positives than the negatives. I aim to credit a series/movie for the things it does well rather than just criticize/penalize it for what they do poorly, so my ratings will always reflect that. By default, everything gets an 8.0 rating and it can go up or down from there as I watch. I don't drop dramas unless I can't find good English subs for it. Maybe the series will do something unexpected that I may like.
10★ | reserved to mark my favorites someday. | 9.5 | awesome, high chance of rewatch. | 9 .0 | great, good chance of rewatch. | 8.5 | Very good, wouldn't mind rewatching | 8.0 | good, idk if I would rewatch unless with someone else | 7.5 | I liked it, it was ok, wouldn't rewatch though | 7 .0 | It's ok, but either I was cringing a lot or really uninterested | 6.5 | I didn't like it. | 6.0 | I really didn't like it. Frustrating to watch for whatever reason | 5.5 | I hated it, but this is probably the lowest I will go unless I can't list a single good thing |
| 4. No more than 10 series on my 'Currently Watching' list. | I will sometimes add things to my 'Currently Watching' list that I haven't officially started to prioritize it over the others from my 'Plan To Watch' list. I usually try to keep my currently watching list under 10 series though to leave room for friends' recommendations. | 5. Always be yourself. | Be you. Unless you can be a shark, then be a shark. Or be a frog. |
